    All you could wish for
Howzak House is a unique little house in the heart of Isfahan's old town. It only has five rooms and a small garden, so the setting is quite intimate, but absolutely perfect. Run by brother and sister, Hassan and Y , the rooms have everything you need, our spacious enough and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh juice and Iranian omelette, fruit and tea, and they really take care of you here. You feel both like a guest, because their hospitality is fabulous, but equally you are treated as a great friend. Hassan and Yaseman will talk to you, take you out to places and give really good recommendations. Equally, you can easily have your own space and time. The environment is so relaxed and peaceful and there is no pressure to do anything. In fact, most of the time my friend and I wanted to sit in the garden all day and chill! I also really recommend this for young people. It has the intimacy and vibes of a cool hostel and the hospitality of a great hotel. Thank you guys!! I left feeling like I had made two good friends and was able to stay in their lovely place. I would definitely stay here again. <3 * Also, though there is no restuarant in the hotel, Hassan was always happy to order food for us (considering it was Ramadan and much was closed during the day), and then would prepare it for us while we sat at the dining table! It was super easy, and then they just add it to the bill at the end.

    Best traditional house in esfahan
I stayed at Howzak for 3 nights in September, the house is just magical and a truly authentic old persian house. The atmosphere there is so zen and my host Yasamane was the best. Yasamane took me to different workshops around the house to learn more about the persian culture all of this for free. Breakfast inclused in the cost is to die for and varies every day. The location is perfect in the oldest area of esfahane just a 3min walk from al Jemaa mosque also close to bazaar and Naqshe Jahan square. Highly recommended.

    My last trip before Pandemic
Iran was my last trip before the pandemic, and Howzak House remained the highlight of this trip to me. Nassim & Babak are both very kind and supportive, and never disappoint you in any question or concern you have about their culture and history, which is amazing. The house is tiny and cozy and very clean! everything has been designed to make you feel at peace and comfort and I loved that! the breakfast was always full of colors and fresh ingredients. I also did the Handicraft walk with Nassim which I enjoyed a lot! I missed this country and these kind people.
Dear Delphine, It is such a joy to read your words. Thank you! And t was definitely more joyful hosting and spending quality time with you. I hope these situation pass soon, and we would be able to host you at Howzak again & soon! :) My warmest Regards, Nassim, on behalf of Howzak Family

I stayed at this traditional-themed hostel, and while it did capture the essence of the past, I found its maintenance lacking. The charm of the rustic decor and traditional architecture was overshadowed by issues like peeling paint, creaky beds, and outdated facilities. Although the hostel had its cultural appeal, I wished they would invest more in upkeep to truly make the experience enjoyable. The kitchen in this establishment left much to be desired. It was clear that cleanliness wasn't a top priority. Countertops were sticky... It would be beneficial for the management to address these cleanliness issues promptly to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all. Regrettably, the bathroom's maintenance in this place fell short of expectations. The tiles were discolored, there was mold creeping along the edges, and the water fixtures showed signs of rust. It was evident that regular cleaning and upkeep were lacking. A well-maintained bathroom is crucial for guest comfort, and I hope the management takes the necessary steps to address these concerns and provide a more pleasant experience for their guests. I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

Beautiful, charming house, with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. I really felt at home, especially because of the kind hosts. They were helpful and very friendly. It is located next to the oldest mosque of Esfahan and you can easily walk to the city centre. I absolutely recommend this lovely place.

Wonderful traditional house I spend a few days with Jasmin and her brother Hassan. A great time! Jasmin was not only very friendly, she also gave me valuable travel tips. The house has beautiful rooms and a shared idyllic front yard. Simply fantastic!! Interesting conversations with other travellers made me reluctant to leave Howzak House again. I would recommend the Howzak House at any time and look forward to seeing you again به خواست خدا

Howzak House is especially good for young people to stay. It is runned by young people. As everywhere in Iran the people/staff is super kind and warm, and they help you with all your questions about what to do, where to go, help with transfer etc. The house has 4 guestrooms, I noticed that everything was very old, and some features can do with some renovation. The courtyard is small and there are many tables and chairs which doesn't add much to Iranian traditional athmosfere. I liked the korsi very much and Yasaman cooked for me delicious Iranian soup. She knows how to care for her guests, Thank you so much..

We spent 2 nights here. This is a very beautiful old house which was converted into a cozy hostel. The location is perfect where we could walk to Naghshe Jahan square. Yasaman, the owner was really kind and helpful and helped us to find best places to eat and walk. Thanks to all!

We had a great time in this beautiful guesthouse. The guesthouse is located only 2 minutes from the grand bazar which makes all the touristic sides very walkable. After a long day of sightseeing the guesthouse is a very nice and quiet place to relax with your feet in the small pool. The owner and her companion are very friendly and helpful (bus tickets, restaurants, delicious breakfast, workshop for printing carpets). We did a very nice cooking class with the owner of the hostel and got to know her and the Iranian (food) culture better. Thank you for the lovely stay, Jassie! Hope to see you again in the future.

Howzak House was definitely one of the best choices I could make on my trip to Iran. Apart from the beauty of the house, the goodness of the food and the excellent quality of the services offered, this place has given me a profound experience on a human level making me better know the Iranian culture, thanks to the warmth and kindness of Yasaman and her family. Hope to return one day!

If you are looking for a quiet, harmonious place, full of human warmth that when you leave it you feel richer than before, the Howzak House is the place for you. I stayed 3 nights and my knowledge of Iran changed thanks to all the information that Yasaman gave me and the kindness of her parents. The small traditional house is a simple, comfortable place where you can relax, savor Iranian culture, meet other travelers, spend the night with your feet in the cool water of the fountain and talk to strangers. I recommend this place to all travelers who are also looking for human contact in a journey.
