Khorshid (sunrise) house dates back to the end of Qajar dynasty, was renovated on 2010 and then was turned into the Sunrise Hotel on 2011. The hotel is built in the heart of the oldest neighborhood of Isfahan and is close to the Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, Atiq Square, Naqsh-e Jahan Square and Chahar Bagh e Abbasi St. The architecture of Sunrise traditional hotel is called “Sunken courtyard” with a central symmetrical yard that has a vestibule on two floors. The central yard has a fountain and a green garden, surrounded by the rooms that are built around it.

I always come to thos hotel when I have a tour, all of my guests love this hotel.Staff are very helpful and friendly.The manager is great also. The rooms are clean and nice decoration. The hotel has parking and always during my trip to Isfahan I feel comfortable.... I highly recommend

We were there for 3 days, room was so clean and beutiful in decoration and comfortable,the yard was so beutiful however it was small, resturant was really traditional and good for relaxing, hosts was so kind and do their job exactly true. We really love there

Although it was beautiful and traditional hotel;it has low quality! The bed sheets were dirty and the bath water was “cold” all the time! The heater was located above the bed which caused you bake in the heat!! Internet wasn’t work properly. Totally i can say I like the garden and atmosphere of the hotel!

Although this hotel has lots if potentials, it is not kept well at all. Our room had a broken and badly glued sink, a shower with a curtain rail and no curtain, wifi that kept disconnecting and a wardrobe that was falling apart. Breakfast was also very disorganised. It is supposed to be a cheap hotel but for the same price we found much better options. Last note: people working at reception were nice, if it wasn't for the fact that I was reminded that I could leave tips for the staff if I wanted to. Shame the staff wasn't that helpful (especially at breakfast) or I would have been happy to leave tips without being reminded...

We had a great day exploring Isfahan with Amin, who we met through the hotel. He was very informative & also very patient with us as we like to take lots of photos. As we had limited time in Isfahan, Amin made sure to take us to many of the sights that we wanted to visit as well as a few places we would never have known about!!! He happily sat with us while we negotiated carpet prices before taking us to try some of Isfahan's wonderful food. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Yes, I definitely recommend this traditional hotel. Staff speaks english and very helpful. The room was just superbe and the bathroom was a bit of a surprise as it has got nice traditional decorations.; thank u for this!!!!! U really feel good in this place. Nice breakfast, its homemade + there's someone that check all the times to make sure that the buffet is always well garnished! Honestly that's a place I would come agian and again!!!!!! Thank You!!

This hotel provides an impression of the old Persian culture. The buidling and its interior decoration are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. I'd love to recommend this hotel.

I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Sure the house is beautiful and the location is good but the management of the hotel made our stay terrible. They wouldn’t accept me and my foreign husbands’ Iranian marriage papers and before calling the police and finding out everything is all right they made a “joke” about taking 100 toman extra for the room to let us stay there, effectively soliciting a bribe. They also kept our passports at the reception and refused to give them to me, only when my husband asked we got them back. The room had ants and the toilets were dirty and they didn’t clean the trash bins from the last guest. We told the travel agency about our experience at the hotel and they must have informed the hotel because later the same day we received a threatening call from the hotel manager. We left the same day to find another place to stay.…
