We have stayed in four different hotels during our Laos trip, and my sister and i like this hotel the most, although there is some tiny little thing we dislike, all about the bathroom. We have spent 3 nights here. The location is good, just few mins walk to the main road, and

Staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide range of choices, served in the courtyard. Rooms were nicely done too. Most importantly since this was my second visit to Luang Prabang was the location. It's perfectly located near many of

The staff here are wonderful; extremely good natured, professional, accommodating. The food is amazing. They have afternoon tea and snacks that I found very satisfying and indulgent. The location is great and the area is very walkable. I made my reservations through Agoda,

Like Sarah says, the original building (rooms 1-8 I believe) has a separate shower/toilet room, with a door for privacy. The sink area is open-plan with the room, although by the door and away from the sleeping/dressing area. We stayed 6 nights in total, in two different rooms, and were quite satisfied where privacy was concerned.

Is the room too small as only 15sqm
It's a bit small. Although it has a dedicated shower area and toilet, both are on open space with walls separating the bed (no door). There is no dedicated wardrobe but only hanging string and the cloth hangers. Overall it's small but adequate and would be OK for a few nights stay.

Is the day bed comfortable enough for a night's sleep for an adult
Hi, I can't believe this wasn't answered before.... ! Yes, the day beds are large enough for an adult! Hope this helps, and G'day.

I don't know what you mean by 'day bed'? The hotel is very clean and comfortable and I have only slept in a regular bed...and they were great. Get the suite and you will have one huge bed and in another room adjoining, two choices of singles. I highly recommend this hotel!
