We enjoyed a 4-night stay at the Sada Hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel location was good. As stated in other reviews there is a complementary shuttle into town, we opted to take a short Tuk Tuk ride. You just need to ask the staff and they will arrange for one to pick you up. You can also walk to convivence stores for supplies there were also restaurants near by but we opted to go into town for dinner and also the night market. It was nice to come back from a day of touring and head to the pool to cool off and have a cocktail. The breakfast we very nice and there was a decent selection, the home-made yogurt was amazing. We had a room that had a small deck that over looked the road out front. It was interesting to sit on the deck and watch all the activity. I woke up one morning and looked out the door and there were hundreds of monks lined up. It was very interesting to see. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Great location for taking day trips and a great location to come back to at night.

Hotel's Favorite
We arrived at this quaint little hotel after a strenuous 9.5 hour bus ride from Loei in North-East Thailand. As soon as we got there they greeted us with smiles and checked us in promptly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were always quick to assist with any needs we had and always with a big smile! There is a free hotel shuttle bus that takes you to the Town centre, of which is about 2km away. The shuttle bus details its set drop-off and pick-up up times to and from the centre, but as the hotel was quiet when we stayed, the staff very kindly arranged for us drop-offs and pick-ups whenever we requested it! This was so thoughtful of them and a fantastic example of excellent customer service! In terms of location, I think it's a good thing being 2km from the town as it's not at all far and it means you can escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre. In addition to the shuttle service, you can also rent bikes for free and it really doesn't take long to get there, either way! The included breakfast was also excellent and served fresh and with care, unlike many other hotels that serve a fly-riddanded buffet that's been sitting out for God-knows how long! The hotel in itself is very tastefully decorated in a beautiful and traditional Laos-style. The pool area is very tranquil and spacious, with comfortable deck chairs to soak up the sunshine. The only thing I'd suggest perhaps the hotel should boost the WiFi as it was hard to get a good signal in our room at times, but this wasn't a major issue. All in all if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay then I thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you to everyone here for the fantastic stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour. The Sada Hotel is a lovely little boutique hotel about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Luang Prabang. The hotel offers a free shuttle or you can take a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. Bikes are also available complimentary. There is a money exchange, ATM and shop just across the road and some small local restaurants a few doors down as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and rooms are beautiful and clean, with balconies or patios overlooking the tropical garden or the street. The pool is huge and is a great way to cool down at the end of the day, especially with Happy hour cocktails from 5pm-7:30pm. Breakfast is simple but delicious and the restaurant offers lots of Lao as well as western options for lunch and dinner. Overall a very pleasant stay and I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a friendly, quiet option in Luang Prabang.

I was very impressed with this hotel when we stayed for 3 nights. The staff could not have been friendly or more helpful. They were genuinely interested in making our stay as comfortable as it could be. When we got to the room, there were a few issues including the safe not opening, bath plug missing and a lack of a 'Do not disturb' sign, though these were all resolved within a matter of minutes. The restaurant is also very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. That being said we often got room service due to the lack of atmosphere in the dining hall. The attendants at the breakfast were fantastic, always asking if there was something they could get for us as soon as we walked in. I also liked that the buffet options varied from day to day. Some room for improvement could be made to the swimming pool area. The pool was quite cold so we never went in, and there was a general lack of decoration which made it less appealing. We were also a little disappointed that the quote that we got given by the hotel for them to organise a Tuk tuk to go to Kuang Si falls was over 50% higher than what was being charged closer to town (though you would get the exact same service). I feel that the hotel should be doing everything in their power to assist their guests in their travels without overcharging them. There was also a bit of a mix up in our bill as a we had accidently been charged for another room's (rather expensive) dinner. Though fortunately I had spotted this before paying the bill and they were apologetic. On another note, I would like to add that the Mojitos we had at happy hour were phenomenal. I have been ordering Mojitos around the world to try and find one that could beat what I was served at a hotel in Koh Samui, Thailand 3 years ago, and I think this one might have done it!

We stayed at Sada Hotel in October during Vassa (Buddhist Lent). The staff (especially Kong) were friendly and helpful and made for an enjoyable stay. The hotel is good walking distance to town but also supplies free bicycles to get around. The pool is clean and so are the rooms which are also elegantly apportioned. We would recommend this place to other couples or families, but might be too far out of the action for those on the 'backpacker trail'. Enjoy.
