We arrived in the afternoon after a guy who worked there took us to place to have a look after we got off slowboat so it wasn't really our first choice. We agreed to stay after as it was only 60,000 kip. No problems. TV didn't work though and internet was patchy at times. Room looked clean. Beds were decently... More

Me and a friend stayed here for 5 nights after arriving with the slowboat from huaysai. The young receptionist, who sleeps in the reception, tried to pull the same scam on us as he did on other people as read in another comment. We payed for 3 out of 5 nights already before we left. On the night before our... More

We had booked a package from Sweden so we did not chose this guesthouse. The first night we got a room in the main building. There was bugs, gekkos all over the place. Then it began to rain in through the windows so we moved the bed to the middle and it was soooo dirty, couldn't sleep a thing cause... More

We ended up here as it was the cheapest room. The room was empty and the bathroom had leaking holes in the ceiling. It was very noisy, as they're in the process of extending the property. Work starts early morning and ends late afternoon. There was free water and free bananas. In the week we spent here we had water... More

DONT STAY HERE. My friends checked into this guesthouse or I would have never stayed there. They start by telling you they have 80,000 kip rooms available but then when you go to check in they tell you they dont have them so you have to pay 120,000 kip. However half of there other building was empty. Then the owner... More

We were greeted by one of the staff just after getting off the slow boat. We were tired so just wanted to get some where to take our bags off. We got a triple room which was perfect. It wasn't really bad at all. The wifi annoyed me a bit. Only annoying thing was being told to be quiet when... More

The room is fine, but there are so many stories with the young receptionist... seriously women be careful. He will go for a "hug" and then try to make out with you. He overcharges and pockets money - - so sorry because otherwise the place is pretty nice.

The room itself was very basic and crawling with various species of insects & bugs.  The toilet leaked everytime it was flushed which lead to a constant sewerage smell. The solution?...a number of small airfresheners placed strategically around the bathroom.   Definitely the worst thing about this hostel was the little weird man that slept in the lobby! He portrayed himself... More

Average place really. If your looking to stay 1 night then not to bad. More nights then you may want to look elsewhere but this place does the job. Remember you get what you pay for, this is a 2 star lower end of the guest house market. We paid 90 kip, not sure how that stacks up in the... More

We arrived on the slowboat and met a representative from this place at and decided to just go there for one night and see how it went from there. Had we read the reviews on tripadvisor we probably wouldn't have stayed here but we had a very pleasant stay and wound up spending 5 nights. The price was very cheap... More
