I stayed here for the second time, the latest date was Jan 2021, this time I came with my family. We stayed here as a group of family of 4 adults and a child over two nights. We were very impressed by how attentive staff are to cater to our needs throughout our stay!. Staff were promptly upgraded our rooms from Deluxe to Heritage Suit when those became available with no hesitant. We really appreciate the generosity and attentiveness of staff. Breakfast was excellent! staff even went beyond their service by offering me a hot ginger tea which was out of their menu when they saw me dreading with the cold. I really enjoy staying here and would come back again in the future. Highly recommend to stay here!

Stay at the Sofitel LPB for 3 nights just before the Christmas period. The hotel is located just outside of the old town and a short walk (or drive) into town. The hotel grounds are wonderful and vast and was a pleasure to be able to experience the history of this property. The customer service was top notch and all staff went out of their way to help us during our 3 night stay. The pool was splendid however, it was unfortunate that the weather was too cold for us to enjoy on most days that we stayed. The breakfast was also great with a good selection of western and local favorites to choose from. The Christmas Eve, the hotel also offered a free Mekong cruise which was wonderful and much appreciated by us. However, having said this, our experience was slightly marred by the fact that our reservation had been mishandled before we arrived. A suitable solution was however found in the end. Further, the rooms, though very charming, did lack certain functionalities. One of our rooms that we stayed in had intermittent internet connection issues. We found the pool villa to be rather small and that some of the fine touches were missing from what you would normally expect of a international luxury brand. Things like power sockets didn't work and lack of a work desk. Overall, the hotel was very functional however given the price, we would have expected more of a whoa factor which was unfortunately missing.

Room Tip: Pool villas are over rated, better going for a suite room with an outdoor bathtub.

I stayed here for 2 nights during covid-19 situation so that there is a promotion for lao residences. Even the price is much more lower than normal, the service is still great. Hotel staff can remember my name and never hesitate for what i’ve asked. Bed and pillows are so comfortable and i love it so much. Breakfast is superb perfect. What i love the most is spa! It is such a relax time for me. Therapist is amazing and i never what my 90-minute ended.

This hotel is great location, attractive public rooms, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service, good breakfasts and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. They have free transfer to the airport which is very connivence for us. Well done to all concerned! Highlight on the staff under this name: Khun Pookkie, Khun Moo Yen, Khun Mukky, Khun Noi and Teams. 🙏🏻

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms and bathrooms are really beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a good cooking experience with kids and staff are really friendly. Although it is situated outside, they have good transportation system.
