We stayed for 4 days here taking advantage of the quiet in Luang Prabang. Our room was in the newer building across the street from checkin. Well appointed, the rooms were spacious and our balcony overlooked the mighty Mekong in full monsoon kit. Breakfasts were on a lower terrace with fantastic views of the river. Decent food and a lovely place to sit. What was truly amazing was the staff at Belle Rive. They were always very attentive, friendly, helpful and paid attention to details. They made the visit so easy and enjoyable. HIghly recommended, especially now when many good room deals are on offer.

Love it when a hotel tries to accommodate and give you a better experience when they can. we came during a terrible quiet time and without questions or expectations they upgraded us to a Terrance superior twin balcony room. Room was not overly spacious (still enough) but very cosy with heaps of lovely added touches. love the complimentary breakfast next to the mekong river and the complimentary mini bar. Don't get me wrong this hotel is not a 5 star hotel and nothing like the hilton. But the staff and the added touches are what makes this a great experience. example is when we went for our breakfast someone came and did housekeeping. I went to the waterfalls and they provided the cutest basket bag with towels in it. When we arrive someone came out immediately to help. Be aware the room does have flaws such as no bathroom door (but has a shower and toilet door) and our room was not connected to the main building. Has welcome drinks and cold towels

We wire warmly welcomed, got a Beautiful room. The breakfast was the best Ebert and we could choose to have it any time of the day. The View from our balcony was beautiful as well as from the relaxing restaurant by the river. It was a great location, close to everything. We loved the free sunset cruise on the river with wine or beer. The room had a filled refrigerator with sodas and juice for our use, no extra cost. That is a first for us. There was fruit and some sweets in the room as well and it was all replenished every day. We were glad we had four nights here as we fell in love with this beautiful town. The hotel also had free bikes for us to use any time. The sights were close to the hotel..we highly recommend this hotel. We will be back for sure on our next trip to Laos.

I was here for 4 nights in February and would certainly return. I booked a top floor suite and was in Frangipani 4. It’s a beautiful, roomy suite looking towards the river. Noise was never a problem as you close not only the windows but the shutters at night. I did not hear guests in other rooms. Great location and refillable water bottles. I asked them to hire a car for me one day to take me to the Kuang Si Falls, Butterfly Garden and caves. I had a great young man with a van who spoke perfect English. The only glaring problem was the restaurant. Breakfast is from a menu and the food comes out painfully slow. My first morning was the worst as I arrived after a few other tables and I ended up being there for about 1.5 hours. Same for dinner- one night I ordered just a bowl of soup and a drink and it took forever. In general, larger families/parties were being catered to- their orders were being taken before mine even if I arrived first, etc.. I found myself very frustrated every morning. The morning of my day trip I asked to have breakfast to go the night before as it would have been impossible to quickly eat the morning of... this needs to be improved. Also, I barely had hot water most of the trip but didn’t mind because it was hot outside. I didn’t complain because I thought that was their norm. My last night though there was scalding hot water so something must’ve been fixed. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Dear Casinoroyale72 Thank you very much for sharing your opinion about your stay with us. How wonderful to read that you enjoyed your Deluxe Suite Frangipani 4 and that the views from the room and its decoration were to your full satisfaction. Further, we very much appreciate your comments regarding the breakfast service. We kindly apologize for those inconveniences you experienced and will train our team in order to make this a more joyful experience for future guests. It always helps to tell the staff if there is anything not working 100% - for example the hot water in the room - as it allows us to take actions and fix it immediately. In addition, we are very glad to read that you enjoyed the great location of The Belle Rive Boutique Hotel and that our employees were friendly and helpful. Hopefully you get the chance to visit soon again. We wish you good healthy and send you our very best regards. Khop Chai lai lai Damian Killer Co/Owner & General Manager
