Not only is the property beautifully located, on a bend where the two rivers meet, and beautifully designed, it is also beautifully run. After having had a less than mediocre experience at a self-described "luxury" hotel (which seems to spend more effort being defensive about their bad service on social media than listening to and fixing their guests' concerns), the... We had a nice room with a great view of the Mekong river. The hotel is fantastically located with easy walking access to al the sites being within the old protected part of the city. The breakfast is very good and served across the road on the banks of the river with breathtaking views

You can't find a better hotel to stay at if you want to be on the peninsula where everything is going on. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, all the temples are close by, as are the both the morning and evening markets. The hotel is charming and the staff is incredibly helpful.

I believe it's high praise for a hotel when five out of five people in a family get the flu (caught in Hanoi) and yet the hotel stay stands as a stunningly beautiful memory. The hotel is ideally situated on the intersection of Nam Khan river and the Mekong. After a week in Hanoi, it was relaxing to have our... More

The hotel is located at the end of the peninsula right on the Mekong next to Wat Xieng Thong. I loved the location of this hotel. Walking along the river and up the main road into town was so peaceful and scenic. There were a number of temples, restaurants and boutiques along the way. If you don't feel like walking... More

I loved everything about this hotel. The restaurant was incredible and the rooms are well appointed and beautiful. I can't wait to return! The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel was waiting for me when my flight landed. A wonderful trip.

I stayed there 4 days in May and the place is magic. The hotel is small in a privileged location looking the mekong river. The room was very clean, the service was great and the staff very friendly. The restaurant is a sanctuary of silence source of calm and good energy. For sure I will come back

We stayed four nights at the Mekong Riverview during Songkran 2016, our third visit to Luang Prabang but first at this hotel. Our deluxe 2nd-floor riverview suite was in the building closest to the Viewpoint Café restaurant. The hotel is in a prime location at the tip of the peninsula which at any time of year other than Songrkan would... More

I was there on a business trip for one week. What a gem! The hotel faces the river and from my room or from the amazing dining area you can stare forever at the river, at the small bridge that crosses to a buddhist shrine, at the few boats drifting by. My room was lovely, exactly like the picture: beautiful warm... More
