This hotel was recommended to us by friends, and we were not disappointed. The wifi worked fine, the bed had a good reading lamp, the air conditioning was effective and relatively silent, the bathroom was adequate, and the view of the river was nice. This was a great place to stay, and we plan to stay there again next time... More

NIce place to stay just yards from the old town. Wooden theme in rooms which means very little sound proofing - I was in a nice ground floor room with terrace, and person above in room sounded like an earthquake every time there was movement. However it was a very nice place (the above left after one night!). The very... More

I've stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was clean and convenient. They cleaned the room at 2nd day like the first time I opened the door. It was really super. Every breakfast were really good and all the staff in this hotel were helpful. Especially, the staffs at the restaurant were so nice. Thanks for everything. If I... More

Room: we were in second floor. Very spacious and clean. The floor so clean and the cleaners clean the room well. Although, they don't change bed sheet daily but overall decent for the price you pay. Wifi connection is good. Bathroom amenities are minimal compared to other southeast asia countries. Bedding, little but hard but my partner was okay. There's... More

Can't say much bad about this hotel. Yes, there was a group tour in there but surely you'll get that in a lot of places. We had the rooms with little verandas looking out of the front of the building and it was a pleasant place to sit and read. Beds were surprisingly comfy! Everywhere in the centre will be... More

This hotel appears to be a favorite among tour operators, especially catering to smaller travel groups. Its main plus is the river view. Although locally classified with three stars, two stars seem to be more appropriate as the hotel to me is more like a guesthouse rather than a hotel. The reception staff was helpful and one of the receptionists... More

This hotel is in a great location, very near tourist street. The staff are nice and helpful. Front desk staff appears to have fairly good English. Free breakfast is coffee, tea, and juice, croissant, toast, cooked egg. Room was clean, air conditioning worked great! It was 37 degrees in Luang Prabang when we were there. Bed was hard, but bedding... More

The Saynamkhan Hotel was a disappointment. The rooms are nothing special and almost completely lack charm or a nice decor, the bathroom is a little wooden box in fact. Doors are squeaking and need some oil. The staff are nice and helpful but many don´t speak English at all. The owner (I suppose) is a grumpy man who doesn´t greet... More

I stayed here for two separate nights. The first night my room was downstairs and it was very disappointing. The window is right to the street, and there was too much noise coming in. The second night I was in one of the upstairs rooms, and they were much better. Bigger, and totally quiet. The wooden floors have some character!... More

The location is great: right across from the seasonal wooden bridge over the Nam Khan River; a block from the main road with shops, restaurants, tour offices, etc.; a few minutes from all the temples; pleasant walk to the tip of the peninsula where the Mekong River meets the Nam Khan. My ground floor room with a terrace was basic... More
