No frills. No TV. Lots of bugs though owner has done great by fixing netting. May require some maintenance work such as tightening wall socket or fixing light bulbs. Otherwise awesome place to stay with very friendly staff and to really experience life.

Unable to book two rooms in the far more salubrious Maison Dalabua, my son and I were forced to decamp to the slightly shabbier offering at Villa Suan Maak. A fairly basic guest house, run by a family, we were treated with a warm, welcoming, friendly smile. This Villa also runs the Suan Maak kitchen which has a Friday night... More

Stayed here 1 night. We arrived about 10am and our room was ready which was good. The staff are very nice and offered free tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and decorated well, bathroom is also clean and it has a good shower. Would defiantly stay here again, great value for money. Breakfast is included which is delicious.

When we arrived here, the hotel owner made us feel very welcome. We slept in a good sized and clean room, but it was very basic. The thing that bugged us was that we woke up at 5 or 6 a.m. every morning, because of 2 roosters and dogs were making a lot of noise. This happened every morning, which... More

I was amazed of this guesthouse, our room was located in the 2nd floor and when u enter the bedroom it has two beds: one single bed and a double bed with mosquito net that looks so cool and awesome. The room was very clean. It has a lots of windows for sunshine to came in. The AC was really... More

The pros - The breakfast was good and included fruit, eggs, and good bread. There room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. The guy that worked that the front desk was very nice. The cons - The staff was at times non-existent, especially when you actually needed someone. On many occasions we could not find... More

I have stayed here for three nights and the service made up for the inconvienences i encountered in the room. The room was very small and was not serviced at all during my stay. Bathroom too small and shower above the toilet. Room was quiet clean but the beds where horrible. As i travelled with a group there is difference... More

We are on our bicycles travelling through Southeast Asia for 3 months and came upon this hotel yesterday. I can't remember the guys name at the front desk but he couldn't do enough for us and all the other guests. He went out of his way to help even when our friends forgot their ipad at the breakfast table. He... More

The room smelled very bad from the old air conditioner. The staff is never there when you need them and they don't speak English at all. The place is situated far from the center of town and in a location that is dangerous to walk to at night. One woman was robbed right on that street near the guesthouse. The... More

This is truly one of the worst places we have ever stayed. We cut out after 1 night. The bed was sagging in the middle with a terrible mattress. Breakfast was not much better with a staff that spoke zero English. The air conditioner was moldy and smelled awful. The wifi did not work very well either. The location was... More
