Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms clean and spacious, staff very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is a bit mediocre. Not many visible guests at the moment so we had the pool for ourselves on our relaxation day. Was only annoyed when we asked for a price for a full day tour in Mandalay. We were sure the reception told us that it cost 35000 kyat but ended up being charged 55.000 kyat at the end of the tour. Might be language confusion when 2 people communicate in a 3 language, but I must admit we felt very let down. Recommendable hotel though

Excellent, personal service and very comfortable hotel. The people from Triumph hotel can help you with anything, and the bungalow style rooms are a wonderful change from chain type hotels. Highly recommand!

We really liked the hotel. As usual in Myanmar, the staff was very kind and most helpful for booking Tuk tuks & taxis or enquiring about restaurants. The room was extremely spacious (important when travelling with a teenager) with very good amenities - and no power cuts. Green and pleasant environment. The swimming pool looked inviting but we did not have a change to use it. Flexible about check out time in low season. Good value for money and suitable for a stay of a few days. Our problem is more that we did not warm up to Mandalay, as a city, which probably requires a bit of time to get to know it.

The Triumph Hotel is a lovely getaway in a city of skinny high-rise hotels. The compound of private bungalows gives you the feel of being away from the urban landscape outside. Most of the workers spoke excellent English and they were all polite, prepared, and professional. The pool area is very well-kept and the breakfast buffet was an excellent combination of Asian and Western cuisine. The rooms are clean and tidy and the cultural show every night after the free cocktail happy hour gives you a flair of the Myanmar people. I would definitely recommend a stay here especially if you are looking for something other than cookie-cutter hotels.

Great rooms and pool but the breakfast was let down by the queue the single toast, and no real orange juice. The staff were exceptional - and the room really large. The pool was nice and kept clean. A nice touch was the puppet show in the evening.
