Triumph Hotel Mandalay has been established since 2014. Triumph Hotel Mandalay (#2016 Travelers' Choice Winner & Certificate of EXCELLENCE) is a great choice for accommodation when visiting Mandalay. Located only 10 minutes away from downtown Mandalay and other main attractions in Mandalay region, the location of our hotel is coined as “the silent zone” for its peaceful setting and quiet neighborhood. We happily offer transportation arrangements and tour guides to all of our guests. We offer 3 room variations to suit all types of travellers. Our hotel consists of 46 wood-floored rooms in total; we have 18 villa junior suites, 18 villa deluxe rooms, and 10 economy rooms. Our economy room can accommodate 1 guest per room, while the villa junior suites and the villa deluxe rooms can accommodate up to 2 guests per room. The villa junior suite and the villa deluxe room are our best selling rooms for their spacious environment as well as their close proximity to our swimming pool and restaurant. Each room comes with a purchasable Longyi, a traditional Burmese skirt, so guests may have accessibility to traditional clothing while in Myanmar. Our poolside restaurant serves awide variety of food ranging from traditional Burmese dishes to modern European cuisine. We provide a complimentary breakfast that is served daily from 6:30am-10am for our guests. In the evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm, guests are made available to complimentary free flow cocktails followed by a Myanmar traditional dance and puppet show. Guests are also encouraged to visit our Spa which offer international standard therapies such as facial massages, foot massages, back massages, oil massages, and traditional massages. Our gym is located one floor above our Spa with amenities open from 11:30 am to 10 pm (8 pm for swimming pool.). Please book our hotel with confidence, as your comfort is our priority. Our Neighborhood Our hotel is 10 minutes away from downtown Mandalay and situated in quiet neighborhood of Mandalay. We are also surrounded by a few well-known local restaurants, which are favored by both locals and foreigners. A few restaurants we recommend are ‘A Little Bit of Mandalay,’ ‘Too Too Restaurant,’ ‘Unique Myanmar’ and ‘Green Elephant.’ All information of these restaurants can be found at our front desk. What is Myanmar known for? Myanmar is also known as Burma as well as Golden Land. The three biggest cities are Nay Pyi Taw the capital of Myanmar, Yangon previous capital of Myanmar and Mandalay last resident of Kong Bong kingdom. The most attractive landmark in Myanmar is Shwedagon, which is located in Yangon, the last resident capital of Kong Bong dynasty kingdom which is located in Mandalay and Bagan the ancient kingdom of Myanmar. Myanmar is known for ancient kingdom, pagodas and sophisticated traditions as well as its cuisine. Dear Peter, Mingalabar! Warmly welcome to Triumph Hotel, Mandalay. We do appreciate for your questions. Mandalay city is laid out in Greek section(cross section). Our hotel is not so far from the most tourist interesting place, like as Shwe Kyaung(Golden Monastery), the world biggest book and Palace. (1) Hotel to city center - 10 ~ 15 minutes = 5000Kyats (2) Hotel to Green Elephant - 3~5 minutes = 3000 ~4000Kyats (3) City Tour (the whole day)- 8 hours =35000Kyats (4) 3 Ancient cities(Sagaing, Ava, Amapura)= 45000Kyats Mandalay is not like in Yangon, where ever you want to go one place to another, its will cost 3000kyats to 5000kyats. We can arrange for all your sightseeing and transportation needs. if you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Have a great day!
