Our first night in Burma we stayed at this hotel and were unable to sleep, The hotel has serious maintenance issues as our room reflected this. Their plumbing is appalling as we could hear running water from the adjoining bedrooms toilets. The air conditioning unit was so loud we had to turn it off. Stray dogs around the vicinity barked...

The hotel is very nice. I requested a non smoking room, when I walked into the room it smelled of cigarettes and there was an ashtray. I complained and was moved to another room. Breakfast buffet was very good. There are only 2 elevators for the hotel so you may have to wait to use. The location is not good....

Having spent just one night at the Sedona Hotel we were obliged to move on as the Sedona was full with tour groups. The Mandalay Hotel was a good second choice just a little further from the centre but in an attractive quiet location. It compares well to the Sedona although the rooms we had were a little cramped but...

A pleasant location away from the city centre. Previously a French chain hotel now owned by a local Myanmar man. Questionable maintenance with a cracked wash basin and a leaking toilet and bathrooms are rather outdated. Swimming pool outdoors. Airconditioning is excellent. Best part of this hotel is it's staff who are all very friendly and helpful, which is part...

For the pice you pay this hotel could be better. So many tour groups when we booked we had to get a suite at $450. It sure wasn't worth it. The room was a good size but the bathroom was tiny, really only one person at a time. The decor was very dated. Staff at the hotel were nice but...

Popular with tour groups, the hotel is located just north of Mandalay Hill. It's not located in the heart of town so if you are looking to roam the streets after your day's tour, you are better off choosing a downtown hotel. The room's design is from the 80s. Functional and the bathrooms are small with bathtubs and shower curtains....

Within walking distance of the Palace (20 minutes walk) and with an incredible view of the Mandalay Hill, this hotel offers a great environment to relax after visiting Mandalay and the surrounding towns. The rooms are spacious even though a little outdated. The bathrooms are quite small and could use refreshment. They offer great view of the Mandalay Hill Other...

Probably the best hotel in Mandalay. We have an executive suite which is very nice but not compared to the five star hotels in Thailand. Luxury tourism is new to Myanmar so don't expect the same level of quality as Thailand. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food is good but not great. Beautiful view of Mandalay hill and...

My husband and I can't say enough about this hotel. Our room was very clean and had all the necessary things that you need. The Staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful and polite. Breakfast had a terrific variety and quality food. Lovely view of the temple. The puppet and dance show was very entertaining. The hotel was very...
