Spent 2 nights here at the start of a tour of Myanmar. The hotel is starting to look like it could do with a refurbishment but is not yet too tired. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Evening meals pretty good too. Service was very good.

The location of the Resort at the foot of the Hill is beautiful. It is a modern and well-appointed hotel with all the accessories. Good food in the restaurant. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. The pool area looked inviting but we did not have time to take advantage of that. The location was convenient. No problems.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel at the end of December. Our rooms faced west with views towards the city. We did have a chance to see the views from the rooms that faced Mandalay Hill and these looked to be better. The rooms were large and comfortable though the bathrooms were a bit tired and dated. The foyer,...

We visited Myanmar early December 2016 and was fortunate enough to spend a full week at this hotel, a wonderful walk back in time, the staff at reception were prepared to bend over backwards to ensure your stay was as we wanted it to be. The rooms were a delightful airy with plenty of natural light and wonderful views no...

Our room was a good size, and had a good view of Mandalay hill. The restaurant staff were excellent, as was the breakfast buffet and food in general. The negatives - some rooms appear to have been updated - ours was not one of them, and so only had very lose European type power sockets and a very small bathroom...

The hotel is a bit run down and needs a bit of TLC, the pool looked great but the rooms were a bit tired and bare, as was the bathroom. The bar was nice with some live music (only ok) in the evenings and the breakfast was extensive (and started early which is good if you need to get out...

Nice hotel located at the base of Mandalay Hill, very modern and western in appearance. Large pool. We had a room facing the pool and Mandalay Hill. In the evening there was a large (350 person) local wedding happening the was fun to watch from the room window. Hotel is very western, could be anywhere in the world.

Don't let the high rise structure put you off. The hotel grounds are lovely: fountains, pools, stepping stones over ponds and lush foliage. Happily, our room was well lit so that reading in the evening was another pleasure. The staff is wonderful. We had a very disappointing meal in the first floor Chinese restaurant. The food was the worst we...

The location of the hotel is very convenient if you plan to explore Mandalay during the day and have a relaxing evening in a more quite part of the city. Service is good, food as well (especially breakfast) and the hotel has an outstanding spa. The rooms need refurbishing but it's overall not too bad and we enjoyed our family...

I must say we were further surprised at the level of comfort offered by many of the hotels in Myanmar - This property was the same although a little more expensive than could be justified it was Nonetheless a very nice hotel with much going for it , a nice traditional theme to the decor in what was an otherwise...
