This newly renovated hotel is great value with good quality comfortable rooms. For all the places we stayed the Unity provided the most comfort at the most affordable rate. No wonder it seemed to be very popular among tourists. The rooms are clean, new modern bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious,...

Great hotel for visiting Mandalay! The manager is a great help for booking your visits and transport in Mandalay and around. He also speaks French very well! Very clean and modern hotel. Good breakfast and also good and not expensive restaurant. Very good value ! The room was very good with all the modern comforts. We even got offered (...

This was probably our favourite hotel in Myanmar. It's significantly cheaper than other options and the rooms are really nice. The bathroom was especially nice and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. While it wasn't perfect (couple of spots of mould in between tiles, window faced a concrete wall, etc.), I wouldn't expect it to be at this...

Very friendly and helpful staff, they help me to buy a sim cart, druve me trough the city to the iphoneshop- just amazing. The room was clean, with no window, but otherwise it was perfect! The food in the restaurant is cheap and good! Thank you!

We were skeptical of booking Unity due to bad reviews but took a chance due to a more recent review saying it has been renovated. We are so glad we did... the hotel is fantastic and great value for money. The rooms are clean, comfortable & the bathroom was great. The shower is the best we've had in SE Asia...

Last week I stayed in Mandalay a total of 4 nights. A friend of mine told me about the Unity Hotel, newly renovated in the neighborhood I am accustomed to stay in -- right in the center of Mandalay. A local Burmese friend booked my room for me and got me a good price -- $30 in high season! When...

We came to Mandalay as a transit city to get to our next destination. The city itself is developing and the location of the hotel is in an area where it feels as if the city will revitalize that area last. Overall, the staff here is great. They're nice and accommodating. Dealing with Agoda/Booking.com is a hassle here. There is...

I've just stayed at the Unity for 10 days and it was a very nice experience . The hotel has recently been completely renovated so you can totally disregard the previous reviews most of which date back to 2013. For my money it's the best value in town and was a real treat to stay at. It's modern, the rooms are...

I really want to like this hotel but my review is mixed. Positives- walked in and got a room immediately. Perfectly good clean room for the price, didn't really care about lack of window as there wouldn't have been a view anyway. Bed is the most comfortable we have experienced in Myanmar so far and linen was good quality and...

Stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The room was big, clean and had satellite tv - an unexpected plus in Mandalay. The manager gave me a great restaurant recommendation and helped arrange for transport the next morning. I rented a bike from them, which subsequently broke, but the manager immediately came to pick me up on...
