We stayed for one night. The hotel is clean and the room is good for Myanmar at $30 per night. We had our luggage carried up to the room for us and our bus organised for us too. wifi only works in hotel reception, which is standard for Myanmar. Breakfast was ok, which runs 7-9am would probably stay again

We had a very pleasant room upstairs at ET Hotel, with a little bathroom attached and windows over a good courtyard. Simple room - but comfortable beds, lots of natural light and fresh air. Friendly staff, who helped arrange our boat to Bagan and a guest house there too. Perfect location too - in the heart of downtown Mandalay.

We stay here for 3 nights in the early of November, 2013. Though we have little time for staying in the room 'cause of touring around all day, but everything are OK. The price may be higher than it's comfortably efforts but keep in range of our budget, there's no problem. It's advantage is the location itself. Nearby of many...

Since accommodation in Myanmar is now greatly inflated from 3 years ago, and overpriced compared to Thailand, the $30 room (peak season rate) at ET Hotel was acceptable. It was clean, adequate size, with a TV and hot water; but nothing to write home about. Breakfast was minimal - only eggs and toast, with coffee/tea and bananas. Quoted prices at...

We stayed here for one night and while the reception area is lovely, the free breakfast decent and the staff very helpful, the actual rooms are not so great. For some reason it sounded like the water system for the entire hotel passed through our bathroom and this kept us up during the night. A lack of ventilation in the...

This hotel has lost it charme long time ago. We probable had the worst room (999) although we made reservation for a nice room in advance. The room smelled like the drainage and we could hear the drainage of all the hotelrooms (toiletspiegel and showers). The internet was not working as well. Take away breakfast was available and ok. After...

Stayed here because a friend recommended it. Stayed for 3 nights. Made reservation by emailing in advance. The room is fine, nothing great, but nothing to complain about. Breakfast included. Above average. They have bikes right out front to rent, and the owner's brother gave us a tour driving around the Mandalay area for a good price. He also woke...

We stayed here for 2 nights in November 2013 and paid $ 30 for a room with 2 single beds and an own bathroom. The hotel is OK, but def nothing special. Beds were clean, shower was hot, and there was free WiFi that almost reached the room :P. In my opinion the hotel fits the city Mandalay. The hotel...

Stayed here in late October - $20 room including TV and Aircon. Hotel staff very friendly and location is OK. Room was clean and bathroom was great - excellent shower with lots of hot water. Only problem was mosquitoes - I got eaten alive. I tried to plug up holes in the windows etc., but they somehow got in. A...

The taxis at the airport know where it is and it's cheap enough. The roof is nice but can get hot so work with the switches to get the fan on and lights off for the night. The staff are helpful and there is wifi.
