We travelled outside the holiday season. The facility was always well maintained, never lying around garbage. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. There are many Things to do that are certainly fun and provide variety but we did not use them as we were only there to relax and sunbathe. The lobby is extremely pompous and beautifully designed. There is a lobby bar, and an area for smokers also in the lobby, but from the smell of the smokers you don't notice anything that is very good and pleasant. The ice cubes that are offered can be taken without any problems as they are made with bottled water. Our room was clean and tidy every day, by phone you can order drinks in the room which are included in the “all inclusive” package, more precise offer can be seen if you scan the QR which is in the room. The food tastes good but unfortunately little variety, but there is a very large selection at any time of the day. For guests who want to try their hand, there are typical Tunisian dishes every time. The green area always top maintained and looks very nice. The pool area is kept in a very nice style but filled with seawater, which bothers me personally but not. If you leave around 8am and reserve yourself on the beach or by the pool you have no problem as good places are still available. Also you can leave your beach bag unattended for a long time as nothing has ever come away in time. The beach itself is also very nice and is cleaned every morning, that only annoying are the beach vendors who want to bring your goods to the man every minute and are a little more energetic in selling now and then, but thanks to security they make sure that none of you enter the sunbathing area.
We have booked a 40 minute massage for 100 dinars p.p. each (30€ p.p.). When asked if we could be in a room together there were no problems and the wish was fulfilled.
In summary, it was a very relaxing and relaxing holiday, I would book again.

The security personnel were especially kind and considerate, showing great patience and warmth, particularly towards children. The rooms themselves were satisfactory, offering comfortable accommodations. The hotel boasted both a buffet restaurant and an à la carte restaurant, and there were also two beach bars, one by the pool and another by the beach. While not everything was always readily available, this was a minor inconvenience given the overall positive experience.
Furthermore, the hotel's location on the beach, some rooms even offering partial sea views, was a true highlight.
Within the hotel area, guests have the option to partake in exciting activities, such as pirate boat trips and camel rides. The boat trip was a fantastic experience, but I must advise against booking the camel tour. Unfortunately, the conditions for the horses involved in the tour seemed less than ideal, with visible signs of stress and discomfort. The camels were often loaded with two riders, regardless of their weight. If you are an animal lover, I strongly recommend avoiding this particular tour.
In summary, my stay at Jaz Tour Khalef was overall fantastic, with delightful dining experiences, a friendly and attentive staff, and a great location by the beach. Just be cautious when considering the camel tour, as it may not meet the standards of animal welfare that some travelers expect.

The hotel itself is clean, but I didn’t appreciate housekeeping staff soliciting tips or knocking on the door to ask if I could exchange British currency for them. On one occasion, I asked the reception to book a taxi to town, and they confirmed the fare would be about 10 Tunisian dinars. Instead, they sent a taxi 20 minutes later that turned out to be selling tours. What should have been a quick 10-minute trip became a detour to a souvenir shop, costing me 40 euros just for the taxi. This experience left me feeling that the staff weren’t very trustworthy.
The worst part was dinner on Saturday, January 11th. The buffet was chaotic—overcrowded, with guests waiting over an hour for food. There were no plates, tables weren’t cleaned, and people were arguing over seating. The grill station was overwhelmed, creating a bottleneck for the rest of the buffet. While there were plenty of managers around, they seemed more focused on ticking boxes than addressing the chaos.
The indoor swimming pool was no better. It was overcrowded, with no system to manage the number of guests, and the sauna was out of order.
What began as a promising stay quickly turned into a disappointing experience. Each day revealed more shortcomings, and unfortunately, the hotel ended up being less than average overall.

We were greeted with huge smiles from Fredji, who seated us with welcome drinks, whilst they arranged are rooms which were very spacious, spotlessly clean, lovely modern bathroom. The birthday girl was treated with some lovely petals and towel decorations in her room, thanks also to Moez for arranging this. We find the beds a little hard, however just ask reception for a couple of extra duvets to put on top and it’s just perfect. Rooms were cleaned daily - lovely friendly maids.
The guys at the pool bar welcomed us back with open arms, they can’t do enough for you, making sure you have whatever you need, from preparing special cocktails and keeping you hydrated with bottled water. Shout out to Baccar, Marouene, Krifi, Karim, Anis & Fehri such lovely lovely people.
The infinity pool is so picturesque and serene, with wonderful views out to sea, The beds are so comfortable with plenty of parasols for shade. The pool and surrounding areas were in well looked after. Always saw them collecting cups and sweeping up throughout the day, and the gardeners potting around, handing out fresh flowers. We had no issues getting sunbeds as we were down there chilling by 8:00, but the pool boys are always on hand to sort these for you.
The beach is beautiful, soft white sand and plenty of beds, again the waiters here run around after you, to ensure you have a relaxing day. The toilet facilities by the beach are spotless a lovely friendly lady there keeping on top of things and she decorates with beautiful fresh flowers daily
The main restaurant is very spacious, food was lovely and a great variety to choose from. You will not go hungry. The waiters here work so hard to look after you, are very attentive and always smiling. Special mention to Aymen who went over a beyond every night to ensure everything was perfect, which it always was -lovely table decorations for the birthday girl and a yummy birthday cake thank you so much.
I would recommend booking the Al la Carte restaurants, the Italian was lovely, a beautiful setting and so nice to get the excellent table service.
The Terrace bar was a great place to chill after a day by the beach / pool, to enjoy a lovely cocktail, thanks to Hammadi who was always on hand to arrange a table and serve our drinks, topping them up without even having to ask -so lovely
The Entertainment team - what a great bunch, always had time to come over and have a chat with us, they work so hard to make sure you’re having a good time - shout out to Mambo, Lolli, Joe, Sam, Falta, Yoss, Marco. Foam party was great fun.
To sum up we had the most wonderful relaxing time at Jaz Tour - beautiful surroundings with gorgeous friendly staff that make this hotel the amazing place it is,
We will be back ❤️

The hotel itself is a holiday in itself as it boasts of bars pools and the beach. My wife loved that the hotel was on a beach front so going to the beach was easy and you have your own section with security so no issues at all. The hotel is very big on security so we were rest assured we were safe.
If you have all inclusive which i would highly recommend you have access to all the bars and restaurants within the Hotel. Round the clock free drinks mocktails/cocktails/tea coffee etc. They have a buffet system and more food you can imagine. Trust me i was there for 7 days and i didn't even get to eat everything!
(Now i move on to the bad bit if you would like to call it that!)
I requested an iron which the hotel did say they would give for an extra cost as it was requested but i did get a little messed around by the reception staff as i rang daily from my room phone and going to the desk daily to get one and just got fobbed off. As well as not having water for an entire day. It was a mains problem.
The best thing was i met two gentleman who work there. One called Youssef GM of the Hotel and another guy called Leith. These two went above and beyond for me as they knew i was not happy with the service. They sorted my issues there and then and on top compensated me which i didn't expect. These guys were absolute legends and Youssef if you're reading this my friend thank you for everything. You made mine and my wifes stay better than i could have asked for.
Youssef and Leith made sure i was compensated by offering us free laundry service, couples massages and as it was a honeymoon they offered us a VIP seafood ala carte meal on the beach. Any issues or anything i needed sorting i had the GMs direct number and he would reguarly check in if everything was okay or if i needed any assistance. Definitely redeemed themselves!
For the service level and what this hotel has to offer i would definitely recommend and visit this place again.

We were made very welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel. We had asked when booking to have two adjoining rooms if possible and we were very happy to have two adjoining rooms, the stay started off very well! And our 2 week stay went very well.
In the restaurant, everything is perfect: the meals are very good with lots of choice. The staff is very pleasant and does everything possible to ensure that meals are good times. The waiters on the terrace or in the dining room do everything to always find us the ideal location.
In the rooms, we sleep very well, the bedding is of very good quality, the air conditioning works well, the wifi also works well and the cleaning is very well done every day.
At the beach, it's a real pleasure: the security people, the lifeguards and the bar servers are always attentive to our well-being, we spent 15 very pleasant days on the beach and we loved it, we was able to rest and sunbathe peacefully. In the morning, people set up the deckchairs for you and the waiters come to offer and serve drinks and water, which is very appreciated. We went for a swim a few times in the outdoor and indoor pools which were great too.
The entertainment team came to see us every day to see if our stay was going well and to offer us entertainment: our 18-year-old daughter took part in step, yoga, volleyball, etc.
On the beach we went jet skiing and parasailing, it was great.
We went to see 3 shows but we were a little less of a fan.
We took advantage of the massage center and there too we were very well received, the massages relaxed us.
My daughter also took advantage of the stay to have her hair cut in the hotel hair salon, which was practical.
All the hotel staff are very cheerful and everyone says hello and asks if we are okay when they pass us. We really felt that everything was done to ensure that we had a great vacation.
The hotel is well located which allows easy access to the medina and there are also some shops next to the hotel.
Moreover, even the staff who monitor the hotel in the parking lot are smiling and always say hello.
So, before leaving this evening, thank you to the entire hotel team, we are leaving happy with our vacation and in good shape to return to work! We will not hesitate to recommend the hotel!

Pools have PLENTY of beds and mattresses are supplied for free. Lifeguards are very helpful at moving these around if you need to. In case it makes any difference to you, the 'kids'' pool is chlorinated and the chill pool is salt water. Beds on the water edge of chill pool go early but otherwise no need to get up at silly o'clock which is nice.
Animation team is excellent, providing large range of activities throughout the day. Evening entertainment is very hit and miss.
Beach is clean with its own bar. Fantastic that local hawkers have an invisible line they can't cross which means you only get hassle right on the water's edge but security is around if you were to need (which I didn't witness). Small shack to the left offers parasailing, jet skis, banana boats and sofas at an additional price which weren't extortionate.
Didn't try a la carte restaurants. Main buffet is ok. If you don't like seafood you're quite limited on choice but you should be able to find something. It's a little stuffy inside but seating outside usually has a lovely breeze and fresh air. Snack bar by the pools could definitely be improved. It can get very busy so it's hit and miss on if you need to wait for replenishments. Although fair bit of space (again, very stuffy inside) there's insufficient seats inside and out. Something which could be easily rectified. Bar by the pool has limited drinks and will often run out of cups in the afternoon.
Some of the reasons why the hotel is not 5 star is touched on above. Its only small details it falls short on: mattress bigger than bed base, towels not bath sheets, pool towels not the length of sunbeds, finish of floor around pool areas, sand not raked, insufficient seating and tables on upstairs veranda by lobby. Few cockroaches spotted, tired carpets in hallways and small lifts with no air circulation. Nothing that's going to ruin a holiday but important nonetheless.
Biggest asset to the hotel is the staff without a doubt. I spoke to one member of staff on the phone who was a little rude but otherwise every single member of staff we saw / interacted with was superb. All working extremely hard, polite, attentive. Thank you to all. Mambo on animation team deserves a mention, as does Ben in the main restaurant. Also loved that we barely heard any noise from anyone walking passed or from other rooms.
The housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, and front desk staff are all very good - cooperative, helpful and understanding.
The variety of food is good, however the quality can be improved. Sugar free options, sweeteners for tea/coffee, etc. need to be catered for. The options for snacks outside of the meal times need to be improved - maybe, because of off-season ( we visited in December), these were limited.
The pool and the beach area are very impressive and I would love to come here during the summer to enjoy these. These were very clean and multiple pool options were available.
The housekeeping service is very good. They went the extra mile to help us. The quality and the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms was also very good. It would have been great if the rooms had an option for heating and cooling - being December, the only option was heating which does not necessarily work for Europeans coming from colder climates.
Overall, a great place to relax and chill and in the summer would be even better with the pool and beach facilities.
