This hotel is a great place for travellers who know what exactly they want. It isn't one of those expensive 4* or 5* hotels with many bells and whistles. The best thing about Dreams Beach is its location right on the El Menchia beach in Hammam Sousse which is a suburb of Sousse. You literally walk out of the hotel and get to the sea in a minute. The beach is municipal, so there are many locals, but the hotel has a reserved area with a cafe there. Nice sand and not so deep water good for children as well as adults. There is also a small outer pool in the hotel which is useful when the sea is rough or cold. Doesn't happen often though. The pool is free including sunbeds. The hotel's interior is good. The hotel's staff was helpful and friendly overall. Free Wi-Fi works only in the hall, so you better buy a local prepaid SIM card with a good data package. 4G LTE worked just fine. The rooms are modern with flat TVs, but there are no fridges. When you walk in your room, you put your key in the wall slot to enable electricity. Clean bathroom. Daily room service. The only problem is noise. There is a large building nearby with apartments for rent, and each of them has an air conditioner with an outdoor unit. Those are old and very, very noisy. Get used to sleeping with windows closed. There are two restaurants with bars in the hotel. One on the ground floor and another on the last floor. Only the former worked when we were there. The cuisine is somewhat simple and kind of expensive, so you better get acquainted with restaurants on the Route de la Plage where this hotel is located. There are many to choose from, the food quality and service are very good, and the prices are affordable. There is also a Monoprix grocery store on Avenue 14 Janvier nearby. You probably want to buy bottled water there because tap water isn't really safe to drink in Tunisia. Transportation is easy. You can get anywhere by a taxi, though there are also many small buses. The least expensive yet quite comfortable way to get around is by a municipal bus of Société de transport du Sahel. It costs only 0.43 TND for a one way ride to the medina of Sousse. There is no entertainment in the hotel, but if you can find your way around, you don't need it either. The locals speak Arabic and French, so you may have issues getting by with just English. The French has no official status in Tunisia, but it's really everywhere.

We are so happy with everything: price, service, time management, hotel, food, restaurant, beach and the sea!!!!!!! We stayed in Dreams Beach Hotel from 15th till 25th of July 2019. Our room numbers were 518 and 509. Everything was great. And we will always remember the great Sea view from our room 518. Despite all bad comments about this hotel we wanted to see everything ourselves. And we were so surprised with the service. The food was great and soooo tasty. Thank you very much!!!!! Well done!!! We wish you all the best!!!!😄😁😜😘❤🎈

My advice is do not go to this hotel!! It's dirty, we had clothes stolen, the wifi started working again the day we left and there was just nothing good about it other than the location. Although the area did feel a little run down, it is right on the beach in between port el kantoui and sousse medina and just off the main road. There are police patrols all the time which makes you feel extra safe, we had no hassle at all being three girls who went alone. Cafe 3m on this road did brilliant sheesha for sheesha lovers! Alex on the beach (african guy) was brilliant in helping us find our way around and sort out watersports. Tunisia is a cheap holiday as you don't spend alot when your there, but choose a better hotel to have an overall enjoyable holiday! I read reviews prior to going thinking oh its okay i'm not too fussed about it not being the best kept, but believe me it was dirty!

This was my 3rd visit to tunisia my husband and I both enjoyed the location right on the beach, the lift wasn't working at the time and was organised to be repaired the next day but was not repaired within the 5 days of staying there but in saying that we were offered a ground floor apartment if we liked but look the option of the 3rd floor to experience the views which gave a even more truly amazing view experience. the breakfast and meals had a wide variety to choose from for all cultures both myself and my husband enjoyed all meals options. Taxis was really easy to get as they often are in the area dropping off or picking up people. The mosque is right up the road and there is also many other restaurants in the area not to far up the road also. Wifi was available In the hotel foyer. Also the staff were very good with the cleaning service, we had our clothes cleaned dried and folded within a day as previously told. We couldn't fault the service or the cleanliness at all.

I was in Tunisia last month. 14 guests had to be transferred to our hotel from DREAMS BEACH. The list of faults was endless. There was nothing for breakfast after 8.15 apart from bread roll. Too many faults to lists here. Our group was there about 6 years ago and there were cats and about 5 kittens allowed in the dining room - some were on the tables. Food had flies on them. Taken off Brochure the following year. Now with an Irish travel agency and heard from guests that this company will also be taking it off their brochure. What worries me is that people who book direct online will not know what they are letting themselves in for. Guests who were at our hotel this year said that they paid £575 for a twin room. which was far more than what we paid at the Golf Residence in Port El Kantoui. Pity anybody who books this hotel. Shame really as it in a wonder location on the beach. my advice DONT GO THERE
