After 2 previously cancelled trips to this hotel, we finally managed to get to visit! There was plenty of positives, however some negatives which need addressing and as to why we wouldn’t visit again! Positives: Hotel and grounds kept in good clean condition. Corridors are dated but they’re okay! Room was clean, comfortable. We had room 110 which is a sea view with walk in shower, however half the balcony is obstructed by the building. Pool area nice and tidy, no issues finding a sun liunger. The beach is amazing, lovely sand, the man who works there excluding Fridays is a credit to the hotel! Cleaners who did our room were very friendly and polite. There’s kittens here too, they’re so cute and love a fuss 🥰 Food is different but enjoyable, not what you may get in Spain for example but it was nice. Always found something to eat! The pistachio ice cream is something else, I could eat a whole tub of it! Good selection of drinks, Celtia is the local beer which is nice. Cocktails were nice too, juices sharp and no full fat cola. If you want to go out and about, book a taxi with reception. We had 322 Karim who was lovely! Very polite, very helpful! Do not use the ones outside the hotel, they’re more expansive and unsafe. The palm centre is a great shop to visit for all your gifts, and a trip to the Mall of Sousse is a must. Negatives: Accessibility in the hotel is generally good, however there is no wheelchair access to the bar, shops or spa, so we were not able to visit these. Animation team are good, however there was often arguments between them in front of guests, a couple of times with some going off crying…this is not a good look! We had 4 nights of karaoke while we were there, and the local singer is not brilliant. The drag show is 25dn and it was ok, however I don’t feel you should have to pay extra for entertainment on the hotel grounds. The animation team kept doing a high pitched whistling, my mum has hearing aids and this was deafening and gave her a really bad migraine! Also on the Miss Hotel night, the entertainer with the pony tail was recording this on his phone! This I found very inappropriate and distasteful! Not the hotels fault, but the composure abs behaviour of some guests was unacceptable! Some of the German guests were more than happy to queue jump infront if someone in a wheelchair, or push or grab you out the way so they could get to something. There was also a very scruffy British family who one night, the wife had too much to drink. Next day they were bragging how it took 4 cleaners to tidy their room! Beach sellers are a pain! Say no and they still won’t leave you alone. Security on the beach don’t look interested either. Issues outside the hotel Dropped kerbs don’t exist here, either too high, blocked by a metal post or by a locals parking, not brilliant. We had an issue outside where we were approached by a man claiming he ‘worked in the hotel’, trying to get us to go to Medina. When we tried to leave, he said you’re not going anywhere and stepped in front of us. By this point the hotel complex security ran over, one grabbed and pulled him away, while the second ushered us in. Telling us he is extremely dangerous and to avoid him. Because of this, we no longer felt safe leaving the hotel grounds, and for this reason, despite the hotel being lovely, we would more than likely not return to Tunisia.

Dear Carlos, Thank you for the feedback. First of all we are sorry to hear that you only partially enjoyed your stay with us. Meanwhile the positive comments make us happy, knowing that there were also parts that you enjoyed. We are so sorry that you felt insecure as Tunisia is a very safe country even if we understand that the incident with the so called hotel worker made you feel the contrary. Sometimes things like this happen all over the world but we assure you that it wasn't anything bad. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future for a much better stay. Warmest regards,

Had a great holiday experience here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. By far the highlight of my holiday though was the amazing massages that I received from Amal in the spa. She is the best, I fully recommend going to the spa and asking for her! If I could have taken her home with me I would have! Annabel.

This hotel, which I first visited in 2007, is, like me , getting a bit old and tired. Sure, the rooms had a bit of a face lift around five years ago, and it all looks okay on first impression or in photos. But arrive and start to look a bit closer and it's all a bit fading and creaking. My room, for example. The loo was ancient and started to leak (fixed within the hour of reporting), the TV had only one english speaking channel which randomly crashed, the sink plughole didn't work. Food was mass catering. It was okay and plentiful but I did have a Gordon Ramsey interlude of protesting and avoiding the chicken being cooked on the grill when raw pieces were plonked down touching, or even on top of, the cooked items. same tongs used for both. The grounds are..okay, until you wander around, when there are bays and yards full of jumbles of dumped rubbish, piles of broken chairs shoved just out of sight and not much in the way of planting. However..the indoor pool, though tiny, is properly warm and a pleasure to swim in - the spa is either new or fully re-furbished. The staff are a delight, warm and friendly and efficient. Some of them have been there for over a decade, which speaks well of the group as employers. I had a pleasant, relaxing and refreshing week. I just wished that someone would come in with a fresh eye and say - get rid of that rubbish, plant some flowering plants around the place, gut and refurbish the rooms one or two at a time. It's coasting. But continuing to do what you did ten years ago isn't enough...

Dear Guest, Thank you for the feedback. First of all you are not getting old, neither do we as we keep our spirit young :) Our rooms were fully renovated 2 years ago actually and it was a full renovation. We apologize for anything that wasn't like it supposed to and we would have loved to change your room if needed. We are glad you gave a special mention to our staff as well as to our SPA which is indeed fully renewed. We are glad to know that all in all you enjoyed a pleasant week and we hope that you will visit us again in the future. Warmest regards,

This is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever been. All the staff are fantastic especially the animations team who remembered all our names, shout out to Yaseen and Leo ❤️Always with a smile saying hello . The cleaning staff came into the room everyday. The bar and waiting on staff could not do enough for us.One of the waiters even went to get me some full fat Coca Cola as everything is zero sugar. The beach is beautiful, the pool side bar was great and you could get a fresh cocktail . If like myself you enjoy a cup of tea then just ask the cleaning staff for a kettle and they will leave you one in your room. You can get free bottled water at the bar and also ask them for a cup of milk which you just keep in the fridge in your room.we enjoyed it that much that we are rebooking for next year For the odd review that have made not nice comments I don’t know why☹️ Everyone in this hotel was amazing with us . Please give a small tip to the staff as they work so hard, also the waiters will bring drinks to you wherever you are. Definitely highly recommend, Marhaba beach we will see you next year xx

Went to this hotel in June and it was great so decided to go back from 4th November till the 18th first week was great second week was spoiled by three Algerian men they were taunting young girls taking their pictures and touching them and smoking inside entertainment hall. I asked them to go out side to smoke and they threatened to kill me. Reported this to tui rep and hotel manager and nothing was done I felt intimidated and afraid until they left 4 days later.

We stayed here for 1 week and we are coming back next year it's so lovely here. The entertainment team are great they don't stop all day. They get you involved in everything all through the day. Always laughing and joking all day long. Leo loves to be pushed in the pool PLEASE don't disappoint him by keeping him out of the pool. Leo loves to be chased around the hotel and picked up becareful he can bite so head lock him first take phone put of pocket and pass to barman who will happily accept because you will playing Leo favourite game. They love to dress up and sing and dance. You've not experienced dirty dancing till you see it in sousse. The hotel staff are all amazing they will do everything they can to make you happy. We had a birthday out there and they made it very special. The spa is wonderful had an amazing massage. They do good offers aswell. We didn't get to swim in indoor pool heated we missed it. The gym there is good size and instructors love to show u and have all.the time in the world to help you. The restaurant and food is flawless so beautiful arranged desserts the chefs are there to chat to aswell. Remember to tip the bar staff and waiters. Lots of nice things to do and see. The beach is beautiful and so relaxing the sea is crystal u don't need a snorkel for the fish. Who ever is reading this have a great holiday
