We throughly enjoyed our mother daughter weekend at the Inn at Torch Lake. The room was cozy and the breakfast was amazing. Harvey is very thoughtful and hospitable. Quaint Alden is on the beautiful Torch Lake.

My wife and I recently spent part of our anniversary leaf hunt with Harvey and Merlin at the Inn at Torch Lake. It was a perfect home away for us, with wonderful accommodations, superlative hospitality, and global breakfasts! Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. Sheets were extremely soft, the bed was very comfortable, comfy chairs to relax in by the fire and flat screen TV. Each room is beautifully and individually decorated. Alden is a beautiful and charming village on the shore of enchanting Torch Lake. We loved walking the picturesque neighborhoods and visiting the quaint shops of this tiny community. Torch and neighboring Elk Lake are two of the most glorious and emerald-watered of Michigan's thousands of lakes. Simply a gorgeous setting! Also, we can neither forget Harvey's amazing cherry-stuffed French toast, nor the best Eggs Benedict we've ever had set before us. If you have an opportunity to visit spectacular northwestern Michigan, and especially if you can stay at the Inn at Torch Lake, do not pass it up.

Nothing but great things to say about our visit and stay at The Inn at Torch Lake. Everything from securing the reservation to checking in to our actual stay was seamless and easy. Harvey is a great host and made us feel right at home. We appreciated the special measures taken during COVID (temperature checks, masks etc) and felt at ease the entire time. The inn itself is beautiful, clean, well maintained with every amenity you could want. A short walk to the shores of Torch Lake where we saw beautiful sunsets each night. We got engaged while there and Harvey was so kind and made it even more special by helping us with photos and suggestions. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Torch Lake that is looking for a home away from home, beautiful scenery, and a no-hassle, enjoyable stay. All of this and I didn’t even mention the breakfasts which deserve their own five star review. I still think about the stuffed french toast. We will be back for sure!!!

I went there with my sisters and mom, and OMG it was amazing. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Harvey and Merlin gave us company and I loved the trip. Harvey gave us directions to places, recommendations, and so much more. His breakfasts are DELICIOUS and some of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Sadly, we couldn’t stay longer but I wanted to so badly. This trip was amazing and Harvey was so sweet and accommodating. Merlin was so cute and calm too. I would return a million times if I could. I hope to come back soon.
