The hotel is dated and in need of refurbishment. The wifi is slow to the point of barely functioning, and the single room is absurdly small. That said, there are two major things going for this hotel. The first is that it's very well located, right on the Corniche, and within walking distance to a lot of attractions. The second is that the breakfast selection is extensive and quite good. Overall, it's still a decent hotel, but I'd probably find somewhere else to stay the next time I return to Alexandria. If they would upgrade the wifi, this hotel would easily get four or five stars from me.

Had a lovely breakfast at paradise inn sky view restaurant. The open buffet is full of variety. The pianist is super amazing! The service is amazing and staffs are friendly and professional; especially the waiter (Moemen). A nice experience

I was there for couple of nights on a single room(420). The staff are extremely friendly, especially Radwa(charming young lady).Thank you. Location is very good (central).Though the hotel is facing the sea it isn't directly on the sea(garden and 2 streets in between). The hotel entrance is a bit tricky on a back street. Located in an old building ,so expect everything to look old.The inside elevator doors are tough to handle(take care the springs are so powerful almost made the door hits my face). The room size was acceptable ,with comfortable bed ,cleanliness was perfect, hot water takes sometime but at the end it's there. Room was overlooking a narrow busy street so it wasn't the best view. The room was cold at night and a bit hot in the morning, something wrong with the heating system. Limited TV channels. Free breakfast on the 5th floor restaurant (skyview) was very good. I also had a dinner on that restaurant food was delicious and there was a good show. Room fare was $55 +26% taxes, so it wasn't cheap though it was a special fare for Egyptians. However hotels are overpriced in Alexandria and Cairo when you include taxes.

Stayed for three nights on a business trip in November. Hotel is fine with lots of original features and the room I had was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was also great - you certainly won’t go hungry. All the staff we encountered were very polite and professional. The roof bar/restaurant of the hotel is great and we spent each evening there taking in the views across the Med. I would definitely stay here again if I ever happen to visit Alexandria.
