6 adults+5 kids. We stayed in Gura Portitei for 7 days Vila Delfinul. Rooms very clean, towels every day, LCD, AC. Bad Wifi in room. Beach nice but not clean sand. Food is good but it takes 90' waiting to receive anything. Boats to rent from privats to go around Delta expensive. It's National Biosfera Reserve so no fishing allowed.... More

You can go to Gura Portitzei only by boat...which is 30 ron one way per person..30min to 1h and 1/2..depends on your luck. The place looks beautiful....but that is it. The beach was full of sea plants and some pets from very educated people who had the pleasure to be there. You can stay there in an old little house... More

Since i was born, 46 years ago i wanted to go in that place in my country , where the Danube Delta is on your right hand and the Black Sea is on your left hand, there where between those two are just a few meters of land. This year i made it true. This place is the most beautiful... More

Gura Portitei is great place to visit. The sea is separated from the lake (Golovita) by just a 50 m band of sand. The place is quiet and the beach is not crowded (also if you want to be alone on the beach you can just walk south for some hundred meters). But that's about it... The place was owned... More

This was one of the most unique and beautiful experiences I have had. I loved: 1. The remoteness and unspoiled beauty of the place. 2. The quietness of the resort (at least when we visited). 3. The cleanliness of the water (it was beautiful and safe to swim in the bay just in front of our huts). 4. The variety... More

This place became very commercial, it's not anymore what it used to be. The rooms are dirty and the smell is terrible. We changed 3 rooms and in all of them we found the same horrible smell. Even with the windows open the smell will not disappear. This is not acceptable for the prices they charge. Tee food in the... More

If you look for a unique place, wild, calm and quiet this is the place for you. But do not expect much from the service provided here, just enjoy the place, the views and nature. We came here a few years ago and we were charmed by this place, but we only stayed half a day so this year we... More

The mighty Danube River flows 1,788 miles from its springs in Germany’s Black Forest to the Black Sea. Just before reaching the sea it forms the second largest and best preserved of Europe's deltas: 2,200 square miles of rivers, canals, marshes, tree-fringed lakes and reed islands. The Danube Delta is a wildlife enthusiast’s (especially a bird watcher’s) paradise. Till this... More
