Everything was great at this hotel. The room was a little small, but there was a/c, hot water, the shower head stayed in place and the connections for laptop were easy to access. The service was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the lighting at the table in the restaurant. The plate was unlit, so one could not see the food.

Very nice boutique hotel.
No parking at the hotel entrance.
The rooms are cute and small.
The cute design and price per room is well worth the location.
Small but excellent breakfast, there is everything.
It is worth booking in advance.
Noises from other rooms are a little disturbing at night

We were surprised that this Hotel only rates 3* and that we could stay there for about AU$75 a night! We stayed for 3 days in an apartment about 150m up on the main street in the old town. Breakfast was included and provided at this Hotel. Breakfast was consistently good with the full range of hot and cold excellent food and the service was first class. It's well deserving of it's current rating and we were surprised to find that we were often the only English-speaking people present. We walked away every day really satisfied with the meal we'd eaten and very happy with the service

This hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The best part was it's excellent location in the middle of Brasov. We were able to walk to many sights in Brasov as well as dinner and shopping quite easily. We had a room with a view of the square and it was so pretty to wake up to every morning!

My only comment was that they had 3-in-1 soap, shampoo and conditioner which I think is fairly common in Romania but if I had known I probably would have brought my own shampoo and conditioner.

The hotel is beautiful, with well kept, clean rooms. It is in a great location for exploring the town. The breakfast was a good selection for a continental breakfast.

Unfortunately our dealings with the reception staff and our room booking spoilt it a bit.

We booked as a family of 5, (children 5, 10, 11) and when we booked six months ago we booked a suite / family room. We were given two double rooms (I.e. enough sleeping space for 4) as they told us the family rooms were taken. I went to reception to ask if we could have a single bed put in one of the rooms and we were told no so I asked if we could swap one of the rooms to sleep three people. They spent a while sorting this out but the offer was of a room separated by 3 floors (no lifts) which just wasn’t practical. I asked again why we could not have the family room that we had booked. After a while they came back to us giving us a third room on the same floor but opposite end of corridor. We did not feel comfortable leaving children in a room on their own so said no, we would make do with the rooms we were given but asked for extra bedding to make a bed on the floor. We were told to ‘be grateful you are getting a room for free’. So we used the bedding and towels from the third room and our children took it in turns sleeping on the floor. When I asked why they would put a family of 5 in two rooms that slept 4, they said that they would expect three people to share a double bed. If that were the case, I would have expected them to tell us this when we checked in, and also to provide us with bedding and towels for 3 in one of the rooms.

The hotel has a great location , right next to the main square but bare in mind that there is no parking available ( the hotel has a few spots in the back but obviously always full ). There is a parking lot in the vicinity , but not a cheap one if you plan on leaving the car there for all of your stay .
The lady in reception was quite nice and accommodating at our arrival but we were surprised by a strong smell of mould in our room on the second floor. I don’t’ know if every room is like this but eventhough the building is an old one , I think that this is not acceptable in 2024. We asked for a another room, but the very bored man in reception on the night shift said that he did not have another room available. Next morning I nicely recommended them to do something about that mould in the future but I got a response similar to : The building is old , there is nothing to do about it 😑
Room was small with classic but outdated furniture but we stayed for a short time and did not mind that. Breakfast was mediocre at most.

Lovely restaurant in a cellar full of beautiful brick work arches. Friendly staff and varied menu - Hungarian, Mexican and traditional dishes. I had the Greek chicken skewers and my husband had the steak cooked on a hot stone. The food was good and we loved the ambiance of the restaurant. We are very glad we we able to eat there. The prices were very reasonable. Make reservations.

Excellent location, right across the city center, quite location and also a very quite hotel, very welcoming, and helpful staff, very clean friendly with very fair pricing. The breakfast table , self service, is rich with local pastry backed on the spot. Highly recommended - no elevator to second & third floor rooms.

We were booked to stay in Bella studio (couple of minutes up the street.) We arrived in Brasov at 2:30am in the snow, tried to check into this hotel (didn’t realise it was the wrong place) and the man behind the desk was very helpful. When we realised we were in the wrong place, we showed him our booking for the studio, he came outside with us to find the front door of our apartment and contacted the host of the Bella Studio for us while we waited in the reception area out of the snow. Once we had the information to access our apartment we left and he offered to come with us to check we got in ok and told us to come back if we had any problems and he could book us into a room in his hotel.
We just wanted to say thank you to Alexandru Muresan who helped us, he is a real credit to the team and is the reason that we would stay in this hotel on our next visit to Brasov. 2:30am, tired and cold, we were so fed up and his positivity and kindness really helped us start our visit on a positive note. thank you so much.

The hotel is located right opposite the main square of the old town, so its a perfect base for exploring. The hotel is very cosy with a sort of traditional design.

The breakfast was alright and theres a little courtyard you can sit in.
Our room was fine, very functional, although it was only a basic one so wasn't expecting too much.

A little tip if you are driving there isn't too much parking in Brasov old town, you can try a nearby parking lot but its often full, so we had to do circles around the town looking for a free parking space which ended up being 10 minutes walk away.

The hotel has a couple of garages they charge for quite swiftly; apart from that you can use public parking for a couple of Euros per 24 hours, they are safe and at the same 5 minutes walk from the hotel as the garage.

Hi, Please advise regarding parking facilities at this hotel. Thank you. Lorraine
Answer from dorinser

There is no solution for parking at the hotel premises, as it is located in the city's central square. However, there is a paid parking 250m away on the same street, you will see a barrier there. The parking place costs an equivalent of 0.75 eur/hr and you don't get any discount when parking for several days/nights. Then you have another parking place 30m further down the street which is free. During the day, especially in the weekends, it's difficult to find an empty place there but during the late evenings that becomes possible. I left my car there for the night, with no problem.
