The hostel is located 5 min form the city center. Is very modern, clean and cosy. The rooms are big and the beds comfortable. The staff were very easygoing and friendly. I did a tour with the owner of the hostel to discover dracula castle and other areas. At some point we had to come back to the car and we got lost and he was upset and scream at me. I was very surprised and told him to not do that with my because I'm not his friend. After that, all went well. I just mentioned this because it may help them to improve. As an advice, you can not lost control or get upset for a misunderstanding in the tourism industry . Anyway , I recommend this place because it was very good, the breakfast was great and my issue with the owner has nothing to do with my opinion of the place. Thank you.

We booked an apartment for 4 people for 2 nights. There are two rooms there with a double bed in each, a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom (you can enter it through one of the bedrooms). The apartment in not brand-new, but it’s in good condition except for the floors. They are really creaky! Every step you take in the bedrooms is gonna be heard. And the door to the bathroom is not very sound-proof either. The windows blocked the noise from the street pretty well, though, but on the first night we could hear people talking outside (the apartment is on the ground floor and there is a restaurant/bar across the street). The kitchen is well-equipped, there is a cooker, a big fridge, a microwave, a toaster, plates, cups, etc. But there is no electric kettle. In fact, there is no kettle at all, only something like a big coffee pot with a long handle. For 4 people we had to boil water in a saucepan. We also had a problem with a lamp in one of the bedrooms. We just couldn’t switch it off. The light didn’t go out completely, only faded, and it was difficult to sleep, so we even had to unscrew the bulb for the night. The staff at the reception were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good (it’s served in the main building round the corner from the apartment). We had to find bed linen and towels on our own in the wardrobes, though, and made our beds ourselves. There were some old stains on the sheets. The location is quite good, right in the heart of the Old Town. It takes about 7 minutes on foot to get to the Livada Postei bus stop, about 10 minutes to get to the Star shopping centre. Lots of restaurants, souvenir shops in the vicinity. There are two bakeries nearby.

Great location. Very clean and so cozy. Breakfast is amazing also. There was not much of a vibe when I was There, the female volunteer never even asked me my name, where I was from or what I was doing travelling. The male Brazilian volunteer was very friendly.
