We came here for two nights while our visit in Brasov. This hostel has everything you need for a reasonable price. With a fully functioning kitchen and a common area we even enjoyed the two completely cold and rainy days in this city. The staff was very friendly

I've stayed at plenty of hostels over the years, and this is a good one. It's clean, has wifi, internet, books, games, social area, brilliant location, lockers, stuff to do and you can get a good night's sleep. However, George and Colleen make the place. They work so hard, I don't know when George ever gets a chance to sleep.... More

Firstly this place so central, it is easy to find and wow so clean. George the owner and his colleague were really friendly and helpful with perfect English. I have probably never stayed in a hostel as clean as this one, everything was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is really well equipped with utensils, stove top, microwave and fridge. All the... More

Stayed here for a few nights while we went to Brand Castle (which is said to be overrated but still worth the trip) the hostel is nice, clean, small though - not a huge amount of common space but pretty good and the staff are friendly! Awesome location right in the old town - worth staying in if you are... More

I've stayed here twice now and really appreciate how especially helpful the front desk fellas are. They're happy to give directions and Google info for guests. The location is perfect: walking distance to town center, bus stop and fun little shops.

My experience at JugendStube was great. The rooms are large and bright and the whole hostel is really clean. The staff were extremely friendly and gave some good tips on Brasov. One of the best parts of the hostel is its location, which is right in the centre, close to lots of restaurants and cafes, and within minutes from many... More

Definitely one of the best hostels in town! Right in the middle of the old town close to the Black Curch (2min) and to the most known restaurant in the city (Ceaunu fiert) the hostel provides clean rooms with private bathroom, a small kitchen, a colorful meeting room and a very friendly staff! Absolutely reccomended!!!

The location and facilities are great. I was in the 4 bed dorm with private bathroom and is was very spacious and very clean. The staff also made your bed for you each day, that has never happened to me at a hostel before. The kitchen also has everything you'd need. But the best thing about Jugendstube is by far... More

We loved every moment of our stay there. Our double room had our own little kitchen! It was great since we didn't have to go to the opposite building to share kitchen. The staff was very helpful, the owner even took us to the place where he had his haircut! For guys it was only 15 LEU. Pretty good. Highly... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Opened in 2010, this award winning hostel, in the heart of Brasov's pedestrianized cultural center, is perfect for the culture vulture traveler. A stones throw from the Piata Sfatului (Council Square) and the Black Church, it boasts an incredible location with easy access to Brasov's public transport. We like to keep things personal here at JugendStube Hostel Brasov and want you to leave feeling like you've made new friends and found a home away from home. That's why we have private rooms and most of our dorms are 4 bed and our biggest is just a 6 bed. Smaller dorm rooms means a better nights sleep and most of our rooms have private bathrooms too so you don't have to wait an age for the shower! With our 24 hour reception it doesn't matter whether your train arrives late or you have a late night, we're always on hand to help. Our shared kitchen area, like the rest of the hostel, is kept clean and tidy and our chilled out communal room is a great place to relax with a complimentary tea or coffee after a long day castle hunting! At JugendStube Hostel Brasov all the rooms have access to Wi-Fi and we're always working on improving things for our customers. All of this, along with a great price, is why JugendStube Hostel is one of the best hostels in Brasov! ... more   less
