We chose this location because it is excellently located in the centre of Brasov. We stayed during the winter holidays and found the staff friendly, the traditional food varied, the room large and clean. I highly recommend this location.

For all of Romania's beauty, custom service seems to be a quality that is missing from its culture. However there is glimmer of hope and its buried in the old town at the mediterra restaurant at Gott hotel. We came for breakfast and the waiter explained the menu. We told him we really wanted Eggs Benedict, but it wasnt on the menu. We kindly asked if he knew a place where we could find them. He said "wait 2 seconds and I'll find out". He back and said I've asked the chef if he can make it and they did. Perfect start to our Sunday morning. I dine at the Gott hotel every time im in Brasov. Top service, great food and the newly refurbished restaurant looks awesome. Thanks again guys.

I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel for a night as part of a larger tour group traveling through Romania. The hotel is rather nice and the breakfast is good. During my stay the weather was cold and so the heat was on in the room. Unfortunately, I couldn't control the temperature settings and so the room was baking hot. I opened the windows to remedy the situation. Best part about the hotel is the location, pretty much in the center of the old town. Even with the location the room was quiet.

Hotel Gott is just off Brasovs main square, so it’s close to everything and it’s lively - but without being (too) busy. The room we had was spacious, but had a creaking floor, which wasn’t too bad for ourselves but could have been annoying for the people in the room below ours. The hotel has three or four floors but no elevator. Staff is very nice and helpful. Next time I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Location just off the square in the old town was great. The hotel is a bit faded and does not have a lift which can be a bit awkward when lugging ports up several flights of stairs. However rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We had to leave at 8am on a Sunday morning and office staff arranged for breakfast staff to come in early to give us breakfast before we left which was much appreciated.

I booked 2 double rooms. One was poorly lit, the only light that came in was through a window facing a skylight. A sewer like smell constantly came from the bathroom. The other room was at the top floor and was nicer and much better lit, but had a very squeeky floor, like the hallway, so whenever someone walked on the hallway the fooor squeeked like in a horror movie. A great plus is the location a hundred meters from Pta Sfatului Nice breakfast.

Was supposed to stay here for eight nights but ended up in a different hotel on first night as our booking was cancelled. I had sent an email on the hotel website a few days before our arrival to say we had a late flight and would not arrive until about 00.30. On the day of travel our flight was delayed by two hours, I rang the hotel just before boarding to let them know of later arrival only to be told that our booking had been cancelled. The receptionist said to come to the hotel anyway and they would sort out something for us. After finally arriving at around 02.30 we were brought around the corner to another hotel and told to come back in the morning for breakfast, when we were informed that they had a room for us. We were told that they didn't have Debit/Credit card details for us but when we checked our account later the money had been taken out and put back in, so we feel it may have been an overbooking on the first night. That said the staff were all very nice, the room was fine apart from extremely creaky floorboards (quiet apart from this). Be aware that some of the inner rooms have windows that just face out on to another window 3 feet away. Breakfast was the usual buffet fare, the restaurant food was very good and very reasonable. Our safe was free of charge (a +) but on the third night it wouldn't open the receptionist opened it with a master key and said she'd get someone to sort it, two days later we asked about it getting sorted, but it was still not sorted four days later when we were checking out (a -). The night before we were due to leave we asked if it was possible for a late check out, which it was and we were pleasantly surprised that there was no extra charge. You will have heard the saying Location, location, location and that is something the hotel definitely has going in it's favour. I would have rated hotel at 3.0 but with the staff and location going for it, it's a 4.0, overall we enjoyed our stay, once we got there and had somewhere to sleep💤

Location is ok staff does not pay attention to reservation booked 2 rooms asked for check out paid but then staff runs out saying I did not pay. I said I booked 2 rooms so I expected to pay 2 rooms not to be treated like someone trying to not pay. Very unfriendly. Rooms are very used entrance floor to bathroom black from foot traffic. Noise from street bad and window curtains need to be closed not a lot of privacy. You can find much better.

Brasov is a great city to visit and the location of this hotel is perfect. Close to the square, Black Church and pedestrian street. The rooms were fine, bed pretty good, and bathroom was well appointed. The breakfast was also quite delicious and with a good selection. We stopped here for one night as part of a small group tour, and was quite happy.
