There was no A/C and the window screens had holes. Everytime you opened a window, you had bugs coming in. The beds were not very comfortable. The staircase that you have to lug your luggage up was a little steep. The hostess was polite, but the meals were very average.

I had a wonderful stay at Bella Vista. However I was there for a wedding, the restaurant wasn't open during my stay, and I needed very little from the warm and friendly owners. Our room on the third floor was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was large with a well-worn but functional hi-tech shower. Our balcony was large and the vista was very bella. Don't linger on the low-tech construction in the immediate foreground (unless you like to watch the slow and steady, one-man progress) but take in the 180 degree views from the mountains to the plain around Brasov. The mercurial May weather provided a new effect every time you looked. One evening there was a late, late party at one of the chalets on the opposite mountain and the (excellent) music came across the distance quite unabated. I didn't bothered us inside the room and we enjoyed it from the balcony but you might want to consider the tranquil forest side if quiet is more important to you than the view. If you happen to be invited to a wedding there you will have an amazing time. The excellence of other kinds of stays will likely depend on you.…

I brought a group of about 12 people to stay here while we did some community exploration and the host of this hotel is so lovely, kind and accommodating. The place was clean, the location was great (near rolling hills, forest, lots of outdoor space) and the food prepared throughout our stay was great. Highly recommended.

I was searching for a place where to sleep in relax and to enjoy the nice temperature. After a travel around Romania this was the place to chill, beds are really confortable, clean and bathroom is great. A place for everybody, from families to business trip. Outside a beautiful garden with games for kids. Silvia and Angelo are 2 amazing hosts, you will eat very good food mixing romanian and italian kitchen. Also good for weddings, big restaurant hall. I will come back to enjoy another trip in here

Hidden on the hillside, three star Bella Vista does not get much traffic. While I stayed here for two days with friends, there was not a single other guest. My 9 friends and I pretty much had the place to ourselves. The good: the balcony provides an amazing view of the town of Sacele to the west while showing the hillside in all its majesty to the east. Its fantastic. The bathroom had a wonderful shower which was quite the experience. The bad: every night during my stay, the dogs from below would keep me up at night, barking to no avail. The beds are not bad but not the greatest either. The breakfast is also rather mediocre. The hotel owner told us how she does a wedding every week during the summer and I’m guessing the food during breakfast are leftovers from those weddings. …

Situated a 30 Lei taxi ride from Brasov square, the rooms are huge and very comfortable, greeted like family by the owners. Lives upto the name with a wonderful view down onto Brasov from the balconies. Not only did we get breakfast as part of the price we got a packed lunch for that days activities. The rooms and service were worth twice what we paid.

We loved the room, which was clean and spacious and had an incredible view. Our hosts were friendly, gave us some great traveling tips and the food was delicious. Needless to say that the price was great given the proximity to the center of Brasov. I highly recommend it!
