We were looking for a hotel near the city center with parking. It is definitely easier to find the hotel with a GPS if you are driving because some of the streets are one way and they wind around in different directions. We were pleased to find that there was enough parking in the hotel parking lot. One thing that was surprising was how friendly the staff were, the best on our whole trip. The rooms were spacious and it was a walk from the hotel to the city center. The breakfast was standard but good.

Location is amazing. Specially if you get a room towards the front you get to see the beautiful city of Brasov, at the back amazing hilly forests. The rooms are big however lack a much needed coffee machine. Hotel has good facilities and well located to give a good view of the city. Breakfast has a good spread as well.

A very nice hotel close to the center of Brasov, and also close to the mountain, with a great view of both. The staff was super nice for the entire period and the breakfast very good. The room was big, and had almost everything you need except iron, slipper and robe.

Located close to the city center and offering a wonderful view over the city as it is situated on top of a hill. Keep in mind that you do reach the center on foot in no more than 15 minutes, but climbing the hill back up after visiting the city is a bit of a workout. We had a spacious room with city view, mini fridge, really clean, comfy bed and two good pillows (a big plus for me). Breakfast was not the usual buffet, but you got to choose how you would like your eggs and also received ham, cheese, veggies, something sweet. Coffee was good. They also have a restaurant which is overall good, but not to die for - the pork tenderloin which we received on New Year's eve was overcooked and chewy and they didn't serve the fondant potatoes as mentioned in the menu, just some potato chips. On another evening we ordered the grilled trout which could have used a couple more minutes on the grill, being a bit undercooked. To keep in mind that the prices are really affordable at their restaurant. Service is super friendly and they definitely follow all covid related rules - social distancing, wearing masks, disinfectant everywhere. There is also parking available.

Held a corporate workshop at the Kolping Hotel over two days. Made arrangements with Claudiu from the hotel who was extremely helpful and obliging with any requests we had. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had a nice meeting room with a balcony area which was great during breaks etc.The staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming and I would highly recommend this as a meeting venue. I was fortunate enough to also have a room that faced to the front of the hotel and the views over Brasov in the morning and evening were beautiful.

This is the 3rd time we are coming back to Kolping and all our expectations have been met. All the services have been excellent, great traditional food and the wine (the best). There is a warm feeling of home when you enter the room with a great view of Brasov. Wifi is good, with a coverage even outside on the street. They have a hidden game room to play ping-pong, cards, games, foosball perfect for a good time with your family.

We came back to Kolping! Excellent choice! Very good hotel! Green hotel! We like it very much, therefore we are here once more. Clean and quiet hotel, nice staff, but the same minus regarding the restaurant. We could eat only a soup because there were many events, but they did not notify us. However, we recommend it and will definitely come back. Now we know what to expect regarding the restaurant!!!

All the reviews are accurate - clean, quiet, spacious, pleasant, comfortable. Location next to the mountain gave great views, and quite a hike up and down each time to go to the old city. Food at breakfast and the restaurant was not special, but good. Staying there gave us a chance to see the neighborhood up against the side of the mountain, with a walking path and nice restaurant.

I got the best start you could possibly get at this hotel. I met Alexandra in the reception who was kind and efficient and upgraded me to a beautiful room with a view of Brasov and the valley. Hotel Kolping is a hotel with a heart. I loved staying there. It was quiet, in a hilly neighborhood, with a short downhill walk to the historical center of Brasov. I couldn't have asked for more.
