Hotel Cherno More doesn't have a swimming pool, it's surrounded by other buildings and a couple of memorials. The Black Sea is adjacent and boating activities across the spectrum take place within walking distance of the Hotel. However, surfing isn't a water sport that happens here, as the tidal flow of an inland sea just isn't enough. I've seen waterskiing and windsurfing on the three occasions I've been in Varna. In addition, boats take sport fishermen out to ply their trade. There's a concrete pier to the north of Cherno More, where fisherman - and swimmers - can operate 200m from shore. Rest assured, there's plenty going on! I hope this is helpful.
