Gabi Hotel is a nice, small, family run hotel hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Gabi is not a hotel in the city center. The hotel is located about 15' walk from the centre of Plovdiv. On the opposite side of the street, one can find Mall Plovdiv and a bus station.
+ good value for money, clean quite comfotable rooms
- the bathroom should have a cabin
Generally good hotel, especially for someone who knows the city and how to move with buses, highly recommended for business travel.

Great location, excellent rooms and reasonable prices. But it was noisy in the room, as I could here the guest from the next door room and a lot of noises from outside as well. Definitely not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place. But overall it was a good stay!

So the room looks like it's from a porn movie. Which is not particularly bad. The sheets are awful and worn out. The bathroom it's pretty much 3mp with shower in the toilet (see pics). It's not very clean also.... And no elevator and narrow staircase.
The staff is ok and the location it's awesome. I think the quality price ration is fine and well I get these are the standard for 3 stars. Yet, they could really change the sheets. I

If you are looking for a place to sleep that is clean and quite cheap compared to the usual prices in Plovdiv then this is great. It's not luxurious but it's very nice for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was very basic. We had a great sleep because the curtains blocked out the light nicely. The reception girls were all really lovely.

We arrived in Plovdiv without a booking to find the annual fair was on and just about every hotel was booked!!!! Good old booking.com found us a room which I quickly reserved or hubby was going to drive straight through the town and home!! We found the Gabi and it looked quite reasonable from the outside and it was opposite a large shopping mall...very handy I thought ha ha!!
The 2 girls on reception couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. They offered us the apartment for the 2 nights but it wasn't cheap...I would think the price had been hiked due to the fair!! Having climbed 3 flights of stairs, no lift, we were pleasantly surprised as the bedroom, lounge and shower room looked pleasant! Then we noticed the coving coming off the wall in the bedroom, the triangular toilet in the shower room which was ridiculously uncomfortable and totally impractical!! The toilet leaked at the bottom as did the shower, a common trait in lots of hotels!!The bed had a bottom sheet but no top sheet, just a rather rough, itchy throw and some quilts in the wardrobe. Don't touch the mini bar, it's a rip off. Breakfast wasn't too bad, typical European with tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled eggs, cheese, toast etc but the coffee was cold and the girls were constantly replacing food and drink!
We didn't complain as the girls on reception were so lovely and helpful, cannot fault them at all...and they deserve a pay rise cos I'm sure they put up with a lot!!
Would we stay there again.....I doubt it.

Clean rooms, big enough for two and well equipped! The staff is being very kind and always smiling, they treat you with respect. I enjoyed every minute there. Close to the hotel is located park Bratska Mogila (Brothers hill), Rowing Canal, Bunarjik Hill and Dzhambaz Tepe - a very beautiful places for a walk and rest. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Last minute decision to stay in this hotel for one night and did not regret. Rooms were kind of small but all basics were there and was super clean. Seems to have been recently renovated.
Very friendly front desk girl prepped extra bed for kids since other personnel was not available.
Price was extremely reasonable - about 70 lev for room with double bed + extendable couch.
Mall across street adds to convenience. Street side can be a bit noisy if windows are open.
