Absolute gem - makes you feel being transported in time. Completed by excellent breakfast and a good restaurant. Highly recommended.

Location: smack in the atmospheric old town, however, close to the new town less than 10 min walk. Very centrally located. Old town all cobblestones - so bring the right footwear.

Rooms: we were in the main building. Place is a bit like time travel with the old furniture making it very atmospheric. Some nice bathroom toiletries. Highly recommend the experience. Only bed could probably benefit from a new mattress.

Breakfast: great breakfast with broad choice (warm, cold). Breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant which is very cozy and beautifully furnished. Also highly recommend to take dinner there, local tasty cuisine.

Having stayed at Hebros many times, it felt like home to return. But each time I notice more acutely what makes it feel like home—except more exquisite. Even before arrival, the receptionist, was extremely helpful via email in reserving the nicest room and my favorite one, at the best price. Upon arrival I was met by the friendly receptionist on duty. The team is always helpful in selecting the right room and organize my stay in utmost details as I have asked kindly by email. making sure that everything is good. I highly recommend this hotel!

We can only reaffirm what has already been said by each of the 2022 5 star reviews. This is a totally unique and most memorable lodging experience that will make you wish that you had booked a longer stay. The restaurant offers great dinners either inside our on the back patio, perfect for a leisurely meal after an afternoon of exploring Old Town. Plan on spending at least 2 nights.

This hotel was disappointing after having read the description. It may have changed hands. A Travel Firm booked this as part of our package, and we were given a budget annexe room: there are two. The Firm were never informed of budget rooms, yet we were told that is what they asked for. The room had a kettle, and cups but no tea, coffee, milk or sugar. There was no complimentary mineral water. The door had been scratched severely by a dog that had been left in there. There was no way of communicating with the reception, or material relating to the hotel, ie breakfast times etc. The breakfast was poor, no fresh juice, the milk seemed to have been boiled and cooled, judging by the skin across it. We had to ask for fresh milk. There was no fresh fruit, and very tepid water for Tea. It was just so disappointing and we ask future people booking to ensure they have a main room, not an annexe room and not to expect 5 star. Having been in 5 star hotels, we do know what to expect.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the water for the shower, hot.

Beautiful hotel but definitely not a 5 star , quaint and quirky .
Parking is a total nightmare and zero information on where to park and get luggage to the hotel , eventually tourist information just shrugged very worn shoulders and said ask the hotel …. So the circle began …
Night three the restaurant party of 10 which was fun I’m sure the singer was basically singing her lungs out in our bedroom , yep 5 star nahhhhh so disappointed after reading good reviews , yep she’s still singing and seems to be having a blast ,

Hebros residence is old city house in Plovdiv. During you stay there you can feel your self like a person from previous times, but with all contemporary facilities. I'm impressed by all original furniture and details with touch of history.
I wish stay here to the rest of my life

location, spirit, style, service, tranquility, if you want to go back 200 years in time this is the place. It is worth staying at least 2 days and having dinner in the garden of the restaurant. In this hotel you will experience the true spirit of Plovdiv

Very unique place situated in the heart of the old town. Kind of difficult to get there by car but worth the hassle. The room is decorated in traditional Bulgarian style and comfortable. Good breakfast

The only negative experience is that at check-in, the staff gave us a room of lower category than we booked. We had to point out the mistake and he promptly corrected.

This hotel is located centrally in the old town of Plovdiv. I was only there one night but found it to be a nice and comfortable place to rest. The hotel and rooms are really unique and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but nice. One thing to note reception is not there 24hours but this was not a problem for me.

I stayed here back in February, and our room was very unique and ornate.
Good breakfast, and right in the heart of the beautiful & quiet old town. Was also fairly short walk to the 'newer' part of the town.

Where would we park the car if we stay at this hotel?

Hi, really sorry but I haven't signed into TripAdvisor for five months. If you still need the info, the hotel is on a narrow road in the old town and there was a barrier stopping most cars from entering the old town. There is plenty of parking on the roads outside of the old town. Maybe in summer it will be more difficult...
