After visiting for Easter 2021 we had the pleasure to spend the Holiday again in this lovely place. My family was pleased to find that they still have the great and friendly customer service at the front desk, restaurant and lobby bar. The rooms are really comfortable with a huge bed and stable extendable sofa for kids and even if the sofa is open there is still plenty of space in the room. Coffee and tea facilities make the wake up easier. The breakfast is a pure gastronomic experience starting with the healthy avacado with walnut going through the variety of eggs, bacon and sausages to the homemade pastries (banitsa and strudel were my favorite). The on the spot open kitchen gives you the opportunity to choose your own omelet taste and to roll the freshly prepared pancace with honey variations with tahini and cocoa. We had a wonderful Stay at the JAGERHOF hotel. The rooms were spectacular, clean and with all the amenities to make your stay pleasant. You can choose your pillow, order room service and eat at the restaurant next door with a 10 % discount. The breakfast has a nice spread which begins at 7am. There is a nice bar downstairs for drinks and afternoon desserts or snacks. There is also parking available. If you want you can also walk a short distance and buy other snacks at a local supermarket Lidl. I would recommend renting a car which will make you life easier when touring the city. You really don't need more that 2 days in Plovdiv unless you are planning to do other activities like wine tasting or another day excursion. We didn't rent a car and basically took the bus everywhere which was fine, but time consuming. The hotel is located in a humble neighborhood and is not near the center. It's about a 20 min bus ride. We preferred comfort rather than being at a city centered hotel. The old town of Plovdiv has a beautiful atmosphere and many might want to stay there instead, but after touring the area, I was relieved we didn't book our hotel there. It's located in the hills with cobblestone streets and would be a nightmare lugging your bags around uphill. I would definitely recommend staying at JAGERHOF if you don't mind not being in the city center.

It’s definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Very modern , everything is done with taste and style. Clean and spacious room, large bed, very nice fabrics (linen and towels). The bathroom is better and cozy than the one in my apartment! From the TV there is an app and you can order room service from the most famous restaurant and brewery in Plovdiv, which is located just outside and it even has 10% discount. The Breakfast is amazing with a lobby bar that offers delicious cocktails. And last but not least, very friendly staff. We were greeted warmly, with a smile and very kind.

During my recent business trip to Bulgaria with my Italian partners, we discovered a great new hotel. The quality of the rooms was fantastic, with amenities such as a coffee machine, complimentary water bottles, flip-flops, and shoe-cleaning sponges.
The parking was well-organized and innovative, with electronic recognition of license plates. You are asked by email the day before your arrival to send your plate information to the reception before arrival, and your car will be automatically recognized at the entry zone. The hotel also boasts fantastic restaurants and the breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I have experienced in Bulgaria. Overall, this hotel is one of the best new options for business travel in the country.
The same ownership as the nearby Jagerhof craft brewery and restaurant is also great. Keep in mind the restaurant is super popular in Plovdiv and often full. They make some of the best beer in Bulgaria; Germany built the beer production facility everything with Bavarian equipment and technology.

This is amazing hotel with real attention to details. Everything is top notch. Love the room design, bathroom, amenities.. the breakfast very tasty with excellent coffee, the next door restaurant is also 10/10 Honestly the only negative was that it was very hot in the room and you simply cannot control the temperature as it’s set and the pillow was uncomfortable.
