Detailed Reviews
We really enjoyed our one night stay in Plovdiv. Our host, Georgiy (Zhora), was so attentive and friendly - he provided plenty of advice of what to see in the city (and there is much to see, Plovdiv is an absolute gem) and helped out with the parking of the car which could be a challenge right in the middle of the city center. The apartment itself is nicely decorated - we stayed on the top floor which could be a bit challenging for the people with mobility issues as you need to walk up and carry the luggage (although Zhora and his friendly assistant helped out with that).
All in all, this is the place to stay in Plovdiv!! Blagodarju, Zhora!!

For a great price you can stay at the center of Plovdiv. Amazing desing of the building and the interior, free tea and coffee for the guests. It was so cozy and felt like home. We had the apartment with 2 rooms and a balcon - really useful for my friend, which was smoking. Warm and nice owners, trying to do their best to welcome you.

This is a really fantastic hotel, and it was very cheap. The rooms are spacious, and there is free tea, which is nice. It is also absolutely central.
I have no idea how such a fantastic place is so cheap. From my perspective, real luxury, for backpacker prices (and that's not true for all hotels in Plovdiv by a long shot!).

This is a wonderful accommodation in the centre of plovdiv, located on a nice quiet street but less than 5 minutes from the nice bars and cafes and 10 minutes to the phillopoplis old ruins and 2 minutes to the Roman theatre, very friendly hosts and welcoming offering a beer or coffee on arrival, rooms are very good with a tea/coffee point in each floor and a fridge in the room. We will definitely be staying here next time

Amazing place! If you are looking for a cheap hotel in the center of Plovdiv with top service I can strongly recommend this place to you. The owners are very polite and warm people. Everything in the rooms is new in a lovely vintage style. I had an unforgettable experience there with my wife. I don't want to waste more time writing about the hotel just go there and see it - you will love it! :)

Perfect location for exploring Plovdiv's attractions. Walk-able distance to everything important: 2 min to Kapana restaurant area, 1 min to the main boulevard and less than 10 min to Old Town and Ancient Theater.
Room was huge, clean and comfortable. Simple and modern design, newly renovated. Room has great AC and mini fridge.
WIFI worked perfect.
Parking - they offer paid parking (10 E/day) in their yard. This is great as the location is central and all public parking spaces are paid (via SMS with Bulgarian number - not an option for foreign tourists). It's also great you can reserve the spot and be sure you have a spot for your car (this was the main reason we chose this place). There are only 3 spots in the yard so wait for confirmation for parking, I imagine there's a possibility they have them all occupied. In weekends the parking is free in all Bulgaria, but we did not want to risk finding a spot too far from the guesthouse just to spare 10 E. I didn't like that I had to send 2 messages via booking.com to receive confirmation for parking place. We depended on their answer and it would have been annoying to find out they don't have a spot for us AFTER the reservation became nonrefundable.
There's no elevator, so not for folks with impaired mobility or heavy and big luggage.

The hosts were lovely and very helpful. AWSOME LOCATION!!! near tje pedestrian street, Kapana district with the great night life and restaurants, and the old city. The guesthouse is spacious, clean, and well designed. The only drawback was the shower door that didnt prevent the water from reaching the rest of
the bathroom.
the bathroom.

1 minute away from the Centre of town-Djumaya Mosque and Ancient Stadium of Philipopolis-the best position you can find for a hotel in Plovdiv, and (important if you come by car), paid parking ! They have 3-4 places in courtyard and, I think, one on the street.
Very nice and friendly people. The building is a former bank, redecorated, clean and large rooms and bathroom, quiet position. Could need some small improvements, like somethig to put the luggage on, or more hangers, some hooks to put the towels in bathroom and some support for soap and shampoo in the shower-cabin, but I'm sure they will be thinking about it.
In the bathroom they use traditionally Bulgarian rose quality products (soap, shampoo etc). Notice that the building has no elevator.
We spent two wonderful days in this marvelous city (Plovdiv is European Cultural Capital in 2019), there are many things to do and to visit-old city, Kapana (the crafts and pubs neighborhood), excellent food, and, this year there are a lot of events and festivals, with music, dancers, specific foods and crafts from different countries. Definitely we'll return in Plovdiv and stay at Skyler!
