Visiting us you will find yourself in the unique atmosphere of Bulgarian national revival . Situated in a house built in the 19th century, entirely renovated and offering all modern conveniences, the spacious rooms and the apartment take you centuries back in time , so that you can feel the charm and romance of past times. The combination of location – in the Ancient Plovdiv reserve, close to Plovdiv’s International Fair and the main shopping street – and the cosiness of the authentic hotel interior, make it a preferred place for rest and business for people from all over the world.

The hotel is located on the edge of Plovdiv old town, so both the old town and the city center is nearby. The proprietor (sorry I forgot his name) was helpful in advising us what the sights are in the old town and answering various questions we have. He even gave us two tickets for the concert at the Ancient Roman Theatre when he found out we enjoyed the concert there on the previous night. The hotel is cozy, with only 4 rooms (however, after recent renovation, two more rooms became available on our second day; if you'd like to book, try to ask for a new room as the new rooms are nicer). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The proprietor is on site from 7 am to 7 pm. When he's not on site, there's a nice gentleman who mans reception. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This charming hotel, with 7 guestrooms (two of which are brand new), is right at the entrance to Old Town and close to the pedestrian street. The rooms have interesting, traditional painting on the ceiling and borders of the walls/ceiling, typical of Plovdiv homes. Rooms are big and clean and the bathroom has a big shower with a separate glass door to close. The older rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned way with rusty orange drapes and bedspreads in our particular room. The 2 new rooms have modern bathrooms and are nicely painted and decorated, still in a traditional manner. Owner, Dmitar is one of the most helpful hoteliers I have ever encountered, taking initiative to offer ideas, gather information, and providing great tips. He is also very friendly. The first morning's breakfast was a traditional Bulgarian feast with banista (baked item with cottage cheese), crepe with blueberry, sliced apples, sour tasting yogurt - yum.

Well restored small hotel family owned. Large spacious rooms. Within walking distance of the old town and of the walking street.. Breakfast was typical but tasty. Friendly and helpful owner. There is a bar next to the hotel where the locals hang out which added to the atmosphere

This is an older property with a great location, right next to the old town. Free parking can be reserved right out front of the hotel. We had a large room overlooking the square. The room had a strange musty odor and was a bit uncomfortable. No bench or stands to open your bags, so you are opening them down on the floor. No tea/coffee making cups/kettle. No complimentary water. Not even a box of kleenex. Pretty bare bones. The only plug for my laptop was in the middle of a long empty wall, so no desk or table for you to sit down. So not very user friendly. Lots of potential for improvement to make this place more comfortable for guests. I thought it was very overpriced.

Perfect location, easy parking in front of the hotel and access to restaurants and the Old Town of Plovdiv and all the restaurants. Clean rooms, great breakfast, and wonderful English speaking host. Highly recommend.
