The benchmark Majdas Hostel sets in your mind is never breached, such is the time you end up having here. Yes, I ended up extending my stay. I met awesome people here, made great friends. I've travelled extensively in Europe, never experienced such hospitality. Great staff. I had a great time talking to Majda and Bata (had so much fun... More

Majda and Bata's hospitality and the staff's willingness to share bosnian culture and history made my days in Mostar unforgettable. Interesting people, interesting conversations sharing cultures from all over the world. Clean and cosy, warm atmosphere, super breakfast!

I was welcomed with a delicious home made iced tea and a quick but complete explanation of the important places in the city. The hostel is very cosi, the garden is also nice. Breakfast is amazing (I had eggs on toast with Bosnian coffee) and included! They also organise a tour, it's defenitly worth it, 30 Euros for 10-11h of... More

Good Afternoon, I hardly write reviews, though it does not mean i never came accross any good hostel. However my trip to Mostar and staying at Majdas was totally a different story i want to write few lines on. For last couple of years i have stayed in many hostels but so far undoubtedly Majdas was the best. How? We... More

You cannot get better than Majdas. After 7 weeks of travel, I felt as if I was able to go home for a few nights. Between the amazing free breakfasts (which, if purchased in a restaurant would have cost more than an entire night's stay at Majdas) and the immaculate cleanliness and modern facilities, I feel blessed to have been... A friend of ours told us that this place was AWESOME, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our stay ended up being very disappointing, for some reasons that I will enumerate below. Don't get me wrong, I will stay objective and will also give you the great aspects of the place, so that you can decide yourself... More

Majda and her family are brilliant people! The homeliness is apparent as soon as you arrive and the positive, fun and friendly atmosphere mirrors the way in which Majda wishes tourists to see her country. The tour was great too, very insightful and good fun...it took 11 hours (!!!) which meant we got to Blagaj in the dark - a... More

I just stayed here for 2 nights, it was my very first night of travelling on my own (my friend flew home that day). They made me feel welcome immediately and gave me tips/ideas for visiting Mostar. The atmosphere encourages meeting people, however there's enough space if you want to just be left alone. The bathroom/shower area is awesome, clean... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely 2 nights it was! We got cake on arrival which was a nice treat, the beds were super comfy with big pillows (we all know that's a bonus when traveling) they made a lovely breakfast for everyone with a cuppa tea which hit the spot! We recommend going on the... More
