I have visited 44 countries over 6 continents and this hostel is in my top 2 best hostels. Milan and the staff are amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. They run great tours every evening, bar games and a pool. Even though it’s full of action, the rooms have black out curtains and are very Quiet if you want a night in. When you come to kotor, you simply must stay here to have the best experience.

The Hostel Old Town is all what I expected from a hostel. Stayed there 3 nights and fully recomend it to everybody. Especially if you want to socialize and have a good time. Perfectly located to walk around the city and to trek around Kotor. Balsha is the man! Always with a smile and making sure everybody has a good time. Milan made sure we have everything we need at every moment. Bottom line, if you plan to go to Kotor and you want something authentic, stay at Hostel Old Town!

This hostel occupies three sites - the original building complete with a buzzy common area, a second building almost opposite with a sweet little pool and a third one just around the corner and up some steps. We stayed in a private room in the last of these - it was big and comfortable with excellent AC (very helpful in Kotor in summer) and a galley-style kitchen which was perfectly fine. One thing to note - the organised activities, including the famous sunset barbecue, are listed on sign-in sheets inside the front door of the original hostel. We didn’t realise this and missed out a bit. Also Kotor is pretty noisy at night with buskers (very good btw), crowds and church bells, so do close all windows and shutters!

We had an amazing time here so much that we extended our stay and replanned our entire trip around Kotor. The location and pool were amazing - but the people were what made it perfect. The hostel does daily trips (hikes, tours of Montenegro, sunset mountaintop barbecues, and boat parties) so you can never get bored and the daily day trips and evening events makes it one of the most social hostels I've ever been to! The staff are wonderful (shoutout to Milan who made our stay extra incredible) and just add to the warmth and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend staying here and taking advantage of all the adventures on offer! Wish we could have stayed even longer. It was worth every cent, and we cannot wait to come back next summer!

A great hostel in the heart of old town Kotor. The hostel organizes fun activities, which makes it easy to meet with fellow travellers. Definitely recommend the sunset BBQ and the booze cruise. The staff is amazing and helpful with everything. The hostel has everything you need: common room with evening beerpong or other games, a pool to hang out at, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds with curtains, and clean bathrooms. My 2 night stay ended up being more than a week!

I traveled solo and arrived at the hostel quite late, nevertheless I was welcomed there so warm and loving that it immediately felt like home. The hostel is located in the heart of the old town, surrounded by restaurants and bars, yet I found it most enjoyable to simply spend time with the people in the hostel's common room or pool. However, if you need some resting time the rooms are also very quiet and cozy. I even stayed an extra night and joined a boat tour organized by the team there. Which made it super easy to get in touch with the other travelers, and the locals. I loved that place and the people so much, and I am looking forward to come back soon.
