This is a lovely old, but refurbished, hotel in the center of old town Yalta and it is within walking distance to everything you might like to see. We had lovely rooms with balconies overlooking the park. The breakfasts were continental (buns etc) and were a bit crowded with bus loads of tourists. However, the food was good. For dinners... Great location - less than a few minute walk from the boardwalk. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was included and was good as well. Wi-fi was rather weak, but may have been our room location. Beautiful balcony view of the Black Sea and the price was very affordable.

There are two main pros to this hotel: Firstly, the location is great, close to everything Yalta has to offer; Secondly the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. However, neither of them are enough to counteract the small rooms, concrete views and extremely uncomfortable beds. Also, although this being a reasonably old hotel on the inside there... More

Passed this hotel by hundreds of times walking on the Yalta quay - these years I used to live in Crimea. In august 2013 I came here as a tourist. Our standard room was rather small though tidy. The view was just awkward - inner yard full of some rubbish - pipes, wire coils, etc... The breakfast was of a... More

I had a pleasant stay on this hotel very close to to city centre. Friendly and good English spoken staff made my visit pleasant. Only one rude and unfriendly baggage person annoyed me. My room was very clean and well managed by staff. Recommended!

I don,t like writing unfavourable reviews, but this time I have no option. The Hotel was billed as Yalta,s oldest, but completely refurbished with modern amenities. Well, there was a condom machine by the main lift! The room we had was small and plainly furnished with no comfortable chair. There was no mini-bar or tea/coffee equipment. The beds were uncomfortable... More

Clean hotel where staff spoke some English. Room very adequate with plenty of space as had the bathroom. Bath and shower and also the added bonus of a balcony with a lovely view of the harbour and promenade but not that close as to be disturbed by any noise. Convenient to be able to sit and have a glass of... More

Arrived too early to check in. Were offered complimentary drinks and invited to wait in bar. Whilst waiting had nice pizza, nice drinks served by helpful staff. Check in staff helpful and pleasant. Room with large balcony overlooked harbour great view/location. Breakfast plentiful and wide choice. Was a swimming pool did not use it but it looked nice. Would recommend... More

Unwelcoming, unhelpful staff, no restaurant - despite several signs to one. 1st morning breakfast, seriously bad, 2nd morning, somewhat better and much improved attitude of staff who were charming and helpful unlike 1st morning. Despite being booked there for 5 days we moved out on 2nd day.
