We are a boutique hotel located in the pedestrian zone of Lviv, overlooking Halytska Ploshcha (Square) and its lovely monument to the founder of Galicia, King Danylo. All of our guestrooms feature double beds, en-suite bathroom, toiletries and daily housekeeping. Our rooms retain the taste and presence of an 18th-century building but with bright, contemporary interiors.

The main advantage is a location. The hotel is located in the city center, 1 minute away from Rynok square. The interior is bright. Everything you expect from a hotel room can be found there. The only issue was hard pillows. But this is really depends on a habit. So no complaints. The stuff was super-friendly!

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel is located in the centre of the old town with an excellent coffee shop at ground level. Rooms are small but still provide great value. Staff are helpful and polite. We will return.

Firstly I want to say thank you to housekeeping staff. They are working very well.I had a big problem about the receptionist lady. When I enter the hotel she look at my face and she never say anything. When you see the people you should say hello or welcome. I made a other booking 1 week ago they changed price about that I canceled my booking and I made other reservation. When I check in receptionist lady try to fight with me. When I said to May I see the room , she said why ? I have only this room . When I try to speak she never listen to me .She was so soo rude . I called the booking.com and they talk with her. I travel all the world I never see any rude people like her. For check in I spender more than 30 minutes. Hotel was clean , location was amazing , sometimes we get the problem about the hot water but It was not big deal. On the floor they offers complimentary water and candy :) Best Regards Kerem & Cagla

Excellent location near Rynok Square. The room was clean and nice, and had all necessary stuff (cosmetics, clean towels, slippers, electric kettle for tea/coffee preparation). You can order tasty breakfast that will be delivered to the room. There are free masks in the reception area, as well as city maps and brochures with tourist information. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellent value for money.

We've stayed in Danyloo in our visit to Lviv in May. The hotel does not seem like a hotel from the outside but when you enter inside it is quite nice. The rooms are not that big because it is transformed from an old building. You can watch streets of Lviv from the window. Reaching out the city center from Danyloo inn is just about 3-4 minutes. You may find many local cafes and restaurants around.

Recently been refurbished. Room was comfortable and warm if a little small. It's Central location makes it very handy. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but with so many coffee shops and bars on your doorstep this doesn't really matter. You can order breakfast in your room which will more than likely be sourced from a nearby coffee shop.

Location was really good. Too close to the cafe/bars in the Rynok Square... max 10 minutes by walking. Also trolleybus stops are in that square. No breakfast. I did not see any order menu in the room. So I did not ask. Changing the sheets and towels are once in 3 days. Only daily tiding up the bed. Batrooms were clean but I think detailed cleaning has to be done. You can see spider nets in the corners. We booked around 3-4 weeks before our stay. The price was expensive for me, 50 Euro/ night. We asked for a taxi around 4 am. First one did not come for some reason. I asked again, the receptionist called again. Still I have waited on the street for 10 minutes than I left by another taxi. They should have a better taxi info.

Response from Roman T, Owner at Danylo Inn
Responded Aug 29, 2019
Dear Sir, Thank you for staying with us! Regarding breakfast, we have information and order forms at reception, in the rooms and throughout the hotel. We offer a room service breakfast and all that is that you order it the night before. Regarding taxi service, I understand that you ordered a regular/public taxi service, for which, unfortunately we cannot be responsible (either they did not show or you did not find each other on the street?). We do, however, offer our own drivers for any transfer you may wish. We hope you will take advantage of this service next time. We look forward to hosting you again in Lviv soon!

Sparkling Clean, Comfortable, Excellent location I’d rate The Danylo as a budget travelers hotel – but don’t let that mislead you. The Danylo is a great place to stay – I highly recommend it and would happily stay there again. For those dealing with mobility issues, it is necessary to note that you must take two short flights of stairs from street level to the reception area on the second floor and to rooms on higher floors – there are no elevators in this hotel. I found the staff to be friendly and asked if they could arrange anything for me during my 4 days in Lviv. My room overlooked busy Halytska Street – if you are bothered by traffic noise, pedestrians and other street activity, which I am not, you may want a room away from the street. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the white and green colors gave it fresh feel; the furnishings were basic, but all that one would need. Strong Wi-Fi signal. There is no café or restaurant in the hotel, but staff will happily arrange room service from a nearby eatery. All in all, the Danylo is a neat little place to stay!

Danylo Inn is such a comfortable place located just 2 mins away from Rynok Square. The hotel is super clean, well heated and the rooms are very large in european standards. We really like minimalist decoration of the room. They offer free water in the hallways along with complemantary confictionaries. The reception is open for 24 hours and always ready help. We really like the cosy feel and bright bedroom. The pnly negative thing I would say is that; the hotel doesnt have a restaurant or lobby. So you have to go somewhere else for the breakfast. Alternatively they serve breakfast to your room for an additional fee. All in all, the hotel meets our expactions for a city break and I would definately stay this hotel if I visit Lviv again.
