Only three things I was pleasantly surprised: the cost of room, free car parking and a good breakfast, but everything else is horrible. All the furniture in the room are old enough, linens are not very clean. My non-smoking room felt like in the old smoky bar. We must pay tribute, the mattress was not old enough and comfortable.
Choose only if you have no more options or price is the only thing matters for you. Far from city center, absolutely nothing around the hotel (no restaurants, pubs, shops etc.) Breakfasts and rooms are very moderate.
It was amazing , i stayed 3 nights at this hotel and i will come again . garden of the hotel was very nice. we liked so much . the location also very very good . a few step away to tramway stop station . and 20 min walking distance to downtown . we choose to use tramway . it was very enjoyable . room was very good . everything ok
was looking for a place in Lviv to leave my bag for a day. turned out to be a decent hotel reception did not mind early arrival (6 am) and included breakfast into the cost of stay(a buffet, by the way, with a choice of food!) the room was clean, wifi stable. did not stay overnight so can say nothing about bed and sleep quality in general - was really amazed at what one can get for a super-low price hotel is 4 km from railway station (45 UAH for a taxi, ~1.5 eur) budget travellers, backpackers - that's your place
Liked: -spotlessly clean and ironed bed linen and towels -very clean shower and floor in the bathroom -the kettle was provided upon request, although it wasn’t included into the room price -helpful and friendly receptionist -good buffet breakfast from 7:30-10:30, although lacks fruit -quite good Wi-Fi, no password required Didn’t like: -the socket is only near the TV and none near the bed -weird old rugs over the normal new carpets on the floor -no slippers, which you will definitely need for the floor in the room which doesn’t seem to be clean enough to walk barefoot due to the abovementioned rugs especially -no information about the hotel and its service in the room, no telephone numbers to the restaurant written anywhere -water in the restaurant is overpriced and not even from a trusted brand -the remote control of the air-conditioner was removed from the room for the winter season and the AC is placed too high to turn it on manually -nobody helps to carry your bags to the room, they only say where it is located…
Good motel with convenient location - road to Ukraine-Polish border. Clean and big room. a great combination of price and quality. Car parking for free. Check-in and check-out at any time. When you travelling to Europe by car - the best choise
We arrived very late in the evening and were met by a friendly receptionist who handled our check in efficiently. As others have mentioned, it's not in the main tourist area and there really is very little nearby. But a taxi from the main station cost 50 rph and takes about 10 minutes, there is a tram close by that will take you to the center of the city, and there are numerous buses outside the front door. We chose to walk into the old town, which takes about 40 minutes. The room was comfortable and perfectly acceptable for our purposes. There was plenty of space to spread out, and although the furnishing are dated, that doesn't detract from the value for money that this place offers. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and there is also a fitness room and sauna on site. If you're on a budget but want more privacy than a hostel, don't mind being a bit outside of the old town, and don't require a lot of additional amenities then this is a great option for your time in Lviv.…
Arriving late in the evening, we were given an unexpected upgrade to a suite; so considering that we paid only for a standard double, the value was outstanding. The hotel itself is not located in a picturesque area of the city (and nowhere near the tourist sector). The view out of our front-facing windows (just across the road) appeared to be spur railroad lines, with unused freight cars and goods in transit. Perhaps in the summer when the trees are in full leaf this would not be so noticeable. The owners have done a lot to make the terrace areas appealing, with high walls decorated with various planters and metal gazebos. The bedroom of our suite was very large (approx. 15 sq. meters). The carpet and furnishings, though of typical east European quality, were in very good condition. The bedroom had a large, flat-screen TV (there was another smaller TV in the sitting area); a safe in the wardrobe; a vanity table with stool and mirror; and an arm chair. The part I liked best was the display of large house plants. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens. The separate sitting room had a sofa sleeper, coffee table with two upholstered stools a good sized refrigerator (not stocked), a cabinet with bits and pieces of stemware and tea cups, but alas--no tea kettle. Live plants were part of the decor here as well. A desk and normal chair would have been welcome additions. The bathroom was large with a corner tub, handheld shower, bidet. Nice tiles. Plenty of towels, but only one robe. Unfortunately, there was not enough light in the bathroom. A fixture is desperately needed over the sink. An exhaust fan would be an improvement to clear the steam. Breakfast was good. Appealing to Slavic tastes, the contents of the buffet were more brunch-oriented, with vegetable goulash and chicken along with the scrambled eggs, toast and cereals. There were no pastries. One recommendation to the owners/managers would be to hire a decorator for the suites. The stark white walls with the few pictures, could be improved upon. Overall, good service.…
i spent in this hotel 2 nights and i am quite happy about it. Staff is really friendly, helpfull and speak english. rooms are clean and breakfast is " eat as much as you can" so it is ok. moreover price is quite competitive. i reccomend this hotel if you have a car, if not just take a taxi ( you can find it for less than 3 euro) there are only 2 negatives things: hotel is quite far from city center and jacuzzy is not working
Well I've been to quite a few hotels in Lviv and this one is just great - I don't know why people complain here... The rooms were clean, staff very nice, we had wifi in our room (lived just above the reception) and breakfast was just AMAZING, so tasty! Maybe the whole hotel needs a revamp but for that price it's the best you can get in like, the whole Europe guys. The train station didn't bother me, if you're afraid of that just bring earplugs.
