The hotel BANKHOTEL ART CONGRESS HALL hospitably welcomed the guests and residents of the city on June 8, 2018. The hotel is located in Lviv in a reconstructed building of the former Austro-Hungarian bank in the historic part of the city. The branch of the Austro-Hungarian Bank was built during the period of the city’s rapid economic development, which took place from 1870 to 1914. Its designing was undertaken by two architects, graduates of the Lviv Polytechnic University, Edmund Zhikhovich and Michal Luzhetsky. Young architects worked together on the basis of the Zhykhovich design bureau. This bureau was famous for a large number of designed and later constructed buildings. Its main peculiarity is the use of secessional and modernist interpretations of various historical styles. In 2015 the Creative Architectural Workshop “Kudin” took up the design of the reconstruction and adaptation of historic bank building into a hotel.

Amazing hotel in beautiful Lviv and lovely Ukraine. We spent 11 nights at Bank Hotel after comparing prices, locations, and services of all comparable options. Sophisticated decor, immaculate cleanliness and highly dedicated personnel made us feel like royalty. The hotel is far enough from the city centre to ensure the nightlife noise does not interfere with rest, but only a few minutes' walk from all the things one needs to see and do in Lviv, Europe's best kept secret. Our room was well designed, quiet and spotless; and the staff was very eager to go above and beyond to make this trip a perfect memory. Obviously, we recommend Bank Hotel to anyone looking for a flawless and outstanding experience in Lviv.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, to the moment we came to the end of our break, the hotel staff were very attentive and extremely professional. All of the staff that we came across, from cleaners, to waitresses, to Reception Clerks and Managers, were very courteous and could not do enough for us. The Hotel facilities were excellent and the rooms were very clean, tidy, modern and well resourced. We never heard any of the other guests in the bedroom area and cleaning staff were very respectful when they requested to clean the room. All in all, an excellent holiday for us, made better by an excellent hotel with excellent staff, I would certainly recommend The Bank Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Lviv, who are looking for a good quality hotel in a very good location within the city.

It is a very nice hotel with modern rooms, breakfast was satisfacting, the Reserve Wine Bar on the 7th floor is stunning desserts are delicious. The location is very central just 10 minutes walk to the stunning centrum of Lviv with plenty restaurants and bars available. Thank you for this gorgeous stay and service. I will definately come again and stay here.

Excellent hotel. Great staff, especially Martina from the front desk (hope I’m remembering her name correctly). Good breakfast. I wouldn’t say the hotel is on an international 5 star luxury level. But then again, I wouldn’t have expected that. It’s a very, very good 4-4.5 star hotel. Everything is brand new, perfectly clean and just wonderful. They even upgraded me to a larger room and brought me free sparkling wine as a welcome gift, as well as some chocolates in the evening.
The only thing that I think could be improved (but that’s not a big issue) is that thicker/softer towels would have been nice. The towels were a bit thin and didn’t feel very premium like. And for breakfast, they could use cloth napkins, instead of the disposable ones. But those are all minor points.
I was extremely happy with my stay and the location is wonderful. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Stayed in July 2020. The hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. The junior suite was perfect for my wife and infant son and while there was no buffet breakfast the menu options where delicious and the staff really went out of their way to make some steamed cutlet and potatoes for my son. It was a great experience and one that my wife and I look forward to again on New Years.

Really nice, clean and modern hotel in a great location, practically in the centre but just that little bit out so not as noisy/busy. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Lviv itself is a beautiful city with lots of fantastic architecture and a lively feel to, there are lots of nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance of the hotel. For anyone looking to get the trolley bus to and from the airport, it stops just opposite the hotel, outside the university.

This has been the greatest hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel itself is ultra clean, modern, and very, very comfortable. More importantly, is the staff who are an absolute treasure. I have never felt more welcome. The breakfast in the morning is great and Vasili could not be more attentive, he is also a really nice guy. Victoria, Nattalie, Christina, and others are the sweetest girls you could ever hope to meet. Maria, at the front desk, is a delight! The upstairs restaurant is awesome, if you are lucky enough to have Dennis pour your wine tell him Jimmy sent you. I cannot express how much I loved staying here.

Bankhotel is a great place to relax and enjoy the quite downtown of Old Lviv. The place offers great breakfasts for any taste and diet. Stuff does their best to make you feel comfortable, safe and relaxed. I definitely recommend Bankhotel, though I'm a very demanding guest :) Will def stay again

Don't miss the town and once you are in Lviv don't miss the atmosphere of the Bank Hotel. The place has been finely restored and at the moment is brand new. The room are very nice and comfortable and everywhere you can enjoy the elegance and the attraction of this old building now perfectly adjusted for an elegant staying.

Comfortable rooms and big comfortable beds, very friendly stuff and great fast service, good food and breakfast. I removed only one point for make in room service more options of meals, but if you wish to eat outside that shouldn’t bother you! I liked a location as well, couple min walk to the center. I rested well in Bankhotel. My next visit to Lviv I’ll choose this hotel again.
