    Donat, Falkenstein resort
The hotel is very old, needs renovation (about 20 years ago), very poor furnishing, only one chair. We reserved a room with a balcony and a view to the seeside and we got a balcony 50× 120cm, so we could put the only chair on the balcony with a veiw on the parking. So the second person sat on the floor beside the open balcony door The food was ok for 3* The staff was very nice and polite in the restaurant, but not so friendly at the reception desk. When we asked iff the room was as we ordered, they claimed that every room in their hotel is fine. So, what is their criteria, how do the people live, iff they claim, that there rooms are super and fine. Look at the pictures I added. I realy havent been in such a room in decades.

    Clean and accomodating
This hotel is as described, it's clean and tidy, comfy beds and the food is good. It's situated right on the beach and the sunsets are pretty amazing. There is a bus stop close by where you can travel very cheaply to get out and see the area. If I could make a small change it would be to have a kettle in your room or somewhere you can get an early cuppa and a few more vegitaion choices on the menu.

    Clean, friendly, lovely location.
I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are basic but clean. Housekeeping come round daily and ask if anything is needed. The food was fine, hot and plenty of it. However I would of like a bit more vegetarian choice, but I didn't go hungry and had plenty to eat. The hotel is right on the beach and it is beautiful. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We have chatted to a few couples here and none of them have anything to complain about.

I have been travelling around the world for many years and I can honestly say I've never stayed at such a bad hotel. The receptionists were not welcoming at all. Once we had viewed our room I asked if we could move rooms, the receptionist was very rude and stated there were no other rooms available and they were all the same. The only solution was to check out. I did look for room in the hotels close by but they were all full. The food was only just palatable and my husband was sick for the 3 nights we were there. The bar staff were very surly and always arguing which nearly resulted in a fight in full view of customers. Never saw any managers present to refer any complaints to. The hotel needs demolishing and starting again

The staff is very nice and food was good and you had a lot of options to choose from. The hotel bar offered a variety of drinks and the all inclusive option was nice.We liked how the animation team organised an animation programme for children and adults thru the week. The room was very nice and clean even tho it reminds you of the 90s.The housekeepers did a really great job every day and we loved how they changed the towels every day but it wasnt really necessary in my opinion.Overall we enjoyed the stay and we will definetly come back

The hotel room is small but comfortable. The balcony overlooked the back, but was just above the kitchen, so I couldn't keep the door opened (smell). One half of my stay the hotel had groups of children staying, and were very loud every night till midnight. The pool looks ok, and I love the short distance to the beach. Food in the restaurant is ok, but gets repetitive after a few days.

complete let down. The staff were extremely rude, hotel was dated and dirty. The pool was freezing cold and around it was dangerous as the bricks were coming up from the ground. There was absolutely no control in the lobby, kids kicking balls

Not really sure what to write about this hotel? I think it can be best summed up by the word cheap! The hotel was very cheap, all inclusive for about £45/night - much less than I would have expected to pay for even room only. Location is out of town but a pleasant walk to the town (approx 45 mins) Location is right on a nice little beach and with a little wooden jetty. Nice pool and garden area. An Uber from the town is about €5-6 However - the place is cheap. In reality that means poor quality food and poor cheap drink. Very weak local spirits, impossible to get drunk and much of the food was awful. The mixers were cheap and nasty, to the extent that the drinks were undrinkable. Pleased I had duty free vodka and bought real Coca Cola. The food was geared to Eastern Europe / German taste and though I would be happy with this normally, the food was totally lacking in taste and flavour. I have marked it down because the hygiene levels were disgusting in the main dining hall. At breakfast they cooked fresh fried eggs (and reconstituted scrambled egg!) and dumped them into dirty trays with the remains of eggs from 2 hours previous. They did this with much of the food, including stews - poring hot casseroles into tray of cold food, surely just moving the old tray would be easier? There were also a lot of flies in the dining hall and the place was dirty and unkempt with cracked plates and broken radiator covers. I was very badly bitten at night in the bedroom - not sure if this can be directly attributed to the hotel but not a nice experience.

Very dates hotel ! Poor furnishings and very poor restaurant Our room was a family room and although the room was clean the furnishings were very old with broken sockets and smashed lampshades. Food was Luke warm and very little choice Tea and coffee was serviced in soup bowls! We complained and checked out and was only charged for the one night stay which was good .
