I have to write my review ,while I'm still staying here cause I cannot believe whysomeone would left negative feedback😲the hotel staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean(basic, but clean..but are you going on holidays to stay on your room???even with fridge!!and large TV),I like the food,too- lots of vegetarian options-always fresh fruits like pineapple kiwis melons, drunks like wine and beer is included plus its a very good location next to the sea...I'm just shocked about some bad reviews..but I already knew some people complain about every little thing,so I gave it a try.. and I was right...brilliant hotel-you won't be disappointed 😊😊😊..oh nice pool too
The hotel is very old, needs renovation (about 20 years ago), very poor furnishing, only one chair. We reserved a room with a balcony and a view to the seeside and we got a balcony 50× 120cm, so we could put the only chair on the balcony with a veiw on the parking. So the second person sat on the floor beside the open balcony door The food was ok for 3* The staff was very nice and polite in the restaurant, but not so friendly at the reception desk. When we asked iff the room was as we ordered, they claimed that every room in their hotel is fine. So, what is their criteria, how do the people live, iff they claim, that there rooms are super and fine. Look at the pictures I added. I realy havent been in such a room in decades.
Had a fantastic 4 nights in Zadar - we had the Hotel Donat all inclusive and for what we paid it was very very good. Food lovely most staff very helpful, clean large room (we just booked normal double and actually had 2 x rooms one twin and one double with a little seating area, TV and 2 balconies. Shower was the best I ever experienced! So much pressure it nearly blew me down the plughole. Also - a small thing - but lovely hand soap and shower gel in a dispenser that actually gave a decent amount. Yes I agree it is a little dated , but we got a very inexpensive deal. Lovely area to back of hotel right on to sea front and nice walks Only minor grip was the fridge in the room didn't work - and could have probably done with a shower curtain due to aforementioned power shower. But we were AI so didn't really expect a fridge. Staff were lovely and cleaners worked very hard. Thank you for a super time - great bar service and lovely lovely food. also one wee tip - we were able to use the facilities at the next door hotel (Falkensteiner) My partner had a massage and I used the gym and (heated) outdoor pool which was gorgeous…
Rooms were clean. Hotel was slightly dated but for the price it is expected. Limited options on the all inclusive drinks. Could have done with more variety of foods in the buffet each day was the same and food quality wasn’t to great. We ate out for lunch and tea to avoid the buffet, but maybe if there is an option to stay room only I would recommend as food and drinks out is very cheap. For a 3* I think it was pretty okay. Good location from Zadar. No sun beds near pool only tables and chairs.
Starting with the positive, the staff were nice and my kids enjoyed refill beverages throughout the day and the buffet-style meals included in the “all-inclusive” deal. Unfortunately, that is where all-inclusive ended. I would like to suggest that the hotel spend sometime updating and refurbishing the rooms, they were small and run-down (to include the basic care of bathroom tile, light fixtures, etc.). In addition to some renovations, I would also like to suggest the hotel re-imagine what “all-inclusive” can mean to a family. For example, the option of early check in, especially since flights are limited to the location. Another idea would be to offer bike rentals to explore the area, or SUP board rentals, or better yet, have brochures available for families to creatively add to their family holiday. If taxi’s are suggested as the primary mode of travel from the hotel to the city center, then hotel staff should be ready to call a taxi on behalf of guests, or at the very least, have a list of available taxi’s and notable price differences that could be helpful knowledge to your guests. In sum, my family and I had a good vacation because we love adventure and are flexible, but the note that this is an “all-inclusive” stay is a misnomer. Remember, all that glitters on the website is not gold…our swimming pool certainly did not have a waterslide…which the website led one to believe. I do sincerely wish the hotel the best, because as I said, the staff were nice, but I would not necessarily recommend this particular hotel.…
ALL INCLUSIVE - don't get too excited coz it is seriously basic! it wasn't expensive but at the same time, it wasn't cheap either. the food in general were very mediocre from breakfast all the way through to dinner, and when i say mediocre, they were ALL very salty to probably disguise the tastelessness of it all. the rooms were awful! hardly any space and felt like i was on a winter holiday as my room was freezing the beach is right outside the hotel which was nice and just be warned that it's not your typical sandy beach but rather ROCKY which wasn't a problem but i was hoping to have known this beforehand and most importantly - SERVICE! this was nowhere to be found!it may as well have been a SELF-SERVICE HOTEL! i've never stayed somewhere with honestly moody and unhelpful staff members! i was a lone traveller and wasn't hoping to make bestfriends with any of the staff members but a little looking after & attentiveness never hurts your travellers. even maybe a smile would've helped! i wanted to WASTE my money on excursions but no one was willing to help me so good thing i didn't a bad experience could've been compensated if staff members were at least friendly so hence why i'm leaving a bad review/rating. maybe a refresher on customer service should be given to the staff and some minor improvements on EVERYTHING else can be done.…
I was on a business trip there. Unfortunately only this hotel had free rooms. In a few words about the hotel: A real socialist gem: it completely conveys the feeling of the 70' and 80', only the parking cars testify that we are no loonger in that age. Hot showering is almost a privilege. On the last day we touched the bottom: there was no water in the hotel. :) The mattress was like a trough or a "mobile-trench". The bathroom was dirty (and so does everyting else), even the revious guest's hair was in the shower tray. Breakfast would have been almost acceptable, but since there was no water, also there wasnt coffe, tea or juice. If you're a little more adventrous, sleep in your car instead. :)
Spent 7 nights all-inclusive with our friends. Friendly staff, no entertainment due to coming to the end of season. Pool freezing. Weather was excellent, 100 yards to the beach water was very clear. Food was excellent in the restaurant plenty of choice hot and cold. Room was cleaned and tidy every day. Plenty of wardrobe space. Would go back again.
Booked this hotel but, regretted it afer reading all the poor reviews. Nonetheless, I decided to go ahead with my plans and stay here and I'm so glad I did. The hotel is basic but you get what you pay for so really, it was absolutely fine for the price. All the staff were really friendly and helpful whenever I needed advice or information. The restaurant staff looked a little miserable but I never had to communicate with them so, it never bothered me. The food was great too with a wide variety and something for everyone. I enjoyed my stay here :)
Visited with five girlfriends as an all inclusive package. All-inclusive was extremely disappointing only served soft drinks, coffee and very poor wine and beer as inclusive and that was only until 10:30 pm. The restaurant was only open minimal hours so planning your meals around your holiday was quite difficult closed at 8:30 in the evening. The rooms were extremely basic the only good thing was that we chose family rooms which gave us a bedroom each and lots of space. The shower was absolutely awful it completely flooded the bathroom and the hall way if you used it as a shower so you had to hold it in your hand during your shower. The maid came every day and was very pleasant but she was probably the only staff member who smiled all week. You get what you pay for and it was very cheap so overall the location of the hotel is excellent 50 minutes walk into Zadar centre with good bus train and taxi links the city itself is stunning and definitely worth a visit. …
