The rooms are not great. The facilities in the room are dated, the beds not good. The shower leaked and it smelt dank. Clearly this is a hotel for tour groups. We didn’t have dinner there so can’t comment but the breakfast room was a dungeon at the bottom of the hotel and the buffet breakfast lacked choice. A wholly unremarkable hotel. The best thing about this was a restaurant up the road; but the walk there was along a busy road with no footpath; a worry in the dark. The hotel is a long way out of town and in an industrial area.

A very basic hotel situated in an uninteresting part of town and reflecting its use in a previous life. The Dining area was located in the kitchen area and whilst the meals were quite adequate and wholesome, and drinks inexpensive, the ambiance was poor. Our room was basic, bed comfortable, clean, basic shower recess and no tea or coffee making facilities. Towels were old and thin and only changed every second day. Wifi was good! As part of a coach tour we felt it was a poor choice of hotel, given previous hotels were a high standard.

This is a hotel that many tour companies use so be prepared for groups of people to be at meals or check ins. It has most things you need for a basic stay-A/C, wifi, parking, clean rooms etc. dinner add on for 10€/person (buffet), and breakfast included. Nice center terrace to sit outdoors.

Don't book here if you want a clean hotel
We started with a request for a double bed, which we did not get, the air conditioning does not work, only warm air at 25 degrees. The bathroom is the worst I have ever seen in a hotel, the shower head did not work and leaked in all directions. The shower also had a lot of mold, the bathroom also smelled horrible, and the shower door was completely broken, so the bathroom became completely wet. The rooms were not cleaned, it was really rancid, only the towels were changed every 2 days. I had black long hair on them everywhere. and my girlfriend have blonde hair so it can't be from us on the sofa bed there were all white spots the location of the hotel was also nothing at all you are on an industrial estate where there is a bus service garage and a parcel service that is 24/7 working so a lot of noise when you try to sleep the walls are also made of paper I could just hear the neighbors talking. the breakfast and buffet is also nothing at all on some days there was not even a buffet due to the number of guests we were paying for the buffet and not for a plate of fries and a piece of meat that was all way too salty, there were ants with the food, which is absolutely not appetizing, the restaurant is in a basement, you feel like you are in a barracks, the WiFi is also that bad . it is just not a 3 star hotel so my conclusion do not book here there are so many nicer locations in Zadar than Hotel Porto this is not worth 470 euros for 5 nights

Friendly staff. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't even deserve one star. Ugly structure and rooms that are old and not at all stocked, not even the basic things that a 3 star room should have. No minibar, no hairdryer. Nothing at all. In the bathroom they simply put 2 shampoo/shower gel sachets. Furthermore we booked a double room and the room we got was with 2 separate beds. In the end we left it alone because it was only for one night and it was the first of the holidays. However, of all the facilities I have been to so far, I think this was the worst. For what it is it shouldn't even be worth €30 a night. But this is not the case, the prices are too high for the quality they offer.

This hotel was perfect for us as we arrived late and needed somewhere near the ferry port for an early ferry. Late check in and early breakfast were very handy. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fine (nice jam croissants). The staff were also nice. I wouldn’t stay here for a holiday but it was perfect for what we needed.

We are on tour with Cosmo Tour, didn't expect to jam us in this hotel of which most rooms were not clean & mouldy, not only the bathroom, shower curtain too, the room also has sign of mould around air conditioning. The bed is so thin and soft, when sit on it, it just compacts almost to the bottom. Everything is so old and unmanaged; rubbish was left over. You would not dare to sit on the chair provided (old & dirty-you will argue this is an antique, so treat it with care). I wouldn't think it's a 3 star as advertised. It's a back packers rated with a little extra as the room certainly bigger than backpackers!

Very old rooms, bedside tables in plywood, shower with the towel, black mold silicones, non-existent lobby with a spot of the false ceiling stained by a leak. Basic food, croissants with garlic, cutlets cooked many hours before. Plastic dining room tables.

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour. It's terrible! It has nothing, no fridge, no mini bar, no room safe. Beds are ordinary at best & its in the middle of nowhere. There are some restaurants & Supermarkets about 15 minutes walk, but I'm not sure of the area at night.... if you have a choice, stay elsewhere

Stayed here while on a tour.
The room was spacious and there was plenty of room even with a suitcase unfolded.
The facilities were minimal. There were stains on the sheets.
Perhaps because of the season, there were a few bugs, so be careful if you don't like them.
No problems with water pressure.
Hairdryers available for rental at the front desk.
About a 5-minute walk to a large supermarket. It was open until 10pm, but the streets were dark at night, so it's a little unsafe for women to walk alone. There was traffic once you got to the main road.
The breakfast had a limited number of items, but the taste was average.
Overall, it was enough if you just wanted to sleep.
