We just came back from a week in Pula hotel and I had a very relaxing time. It was a last minute pick and I reserved it directly with the hotel reception. I was not sure about my choice due to previous reviews, however the price convinced me. I received an amazing deal for 7days that included the discount for 9 years and room's price reduction from 23th August. Hotel is basic and I agree that needs a renovation, however we had a pleasant stay as only half of the hotel rooms were used due to Covid.Pool most of the time was empty and I start calling it our private pool. Rooms are ok – sheets and towels are new, clean and made of cotton. Food a bit repetitive, dry meat but not always. Staff across all levels are friendly and very supportive. Pros : super friendly and supportive staff, comfortable beds, clean sheets, fast internet, beautiful beach only 200 steps away, great a la carte menu ( squid for £7 – see picture) great coffee at the bar, small supermarket close by, one of the best restaurant in Pula only 3min walk from the hotel : Stari Grad, good hairdressers near hotel (ask for Milica) Cons: interior design (carpet, pool area needs modernisation),repetitive menu…
Hotel Pula has fulfilled all my expectations. It is a quiet place and a good parking. Rooms need renovation but prices are good. And a view from the balcony in the morning was very inspiring. This is a hotel to recommend if want just to sleep over and go
I visited this hotel with my girlfriend. The reception was disastrous. Service and food very poor. The hotel is very old and dirty. It stinks all over the hotel. I do not recommend anyone to visit this hotel.
This has been a very very nice hotel back in the days, but no maintenance and it is a faded pearl. Large groups of German youth roaming around making terrible noise evening and night, the roof is leaking 100 places when it rains according to the receptionist. Generally in bad condition. Breakfast is not bad but presented as if they had 10 minutes to prepare. The area nearby is nice though. Staff are nice. Don't book here unless you are desperate.
My husband and I stayed here for three nights. I imagine this hotel was something of a 'Ritz' in 1979. However, 40 years of zero maintenance is pretty evident here. Crumbly window frames, ciggy burns in the carpet (yes, carpet!) I can't imagine the amount of money it would take to bring it up to date. On a positive note, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy. Wi-Fi also very good! The food is perfectly acceptable (keep in mind, this is a three star rated hotel....) Air Con isn't great, but just about does the job. 30 min walk to town. I would suggest an Uber cab from the airport. Cost us £9.50.
