Basic room, spotlessly clean, excellent location in the old city (on one of the streets made of stairs - Dubrovnik is like that). The owner was there every day, looking after the property. She was very friendly and welcoming - I was greeted with a "Hello darling!" every morning. Snacks & coffee provided (fruit, cookies, etc.).

In my 15 years of extensive travel around the world, I have never had such an amazing experience as I did staying with Anka and her family at Rooms Vicelic. Anka's family cares about the guests in a way that I've never seen before - they are truly genuine and loving people, and they go out of their way to...

After reading TripAdvisor reviews and finding an off-season deal, we booked five nights here in the heart of the old city. We loved this quaint little well maintained inn, and we really liked the owner, Anka. I have many good things to say about Vicelic, but first must mention two significant drawbacks. From the main level of old town, you...

It is surely the best place to stay in Dubrovnik, inside the walls, some steps from the Plaka/Stradum, very good staff (Anka), complimentary coffee and biscuits and fruits, clean rooms... If you can go up some stairs, it is the perfect place!!

Although we did not know about the steep steps in the old town, which is part of this amazing place, we were immediately helped with our luggage when we met "darling" Anka. She was so welcoming and helpful! She made us feel like being home away from home. Room was clean, a/c, quiet and we had access to the cute...

Rooms Vicelik is right in the middle of the old town. Quite literally. Expect narrow, cobbled streets with (very) steep stairs. If you have a car, you won't be able to use it in the old town, so it's definitely worth using the parking Rooms Vicelik will offer you (this is not free). Anka and her daughter-in-law were most welcoming...

First things first: Anka was one of the best hosts I've ever stayed with. She was so welcoming, and when she spotted that we'd come back soaking wet from sea kayaking she offered to wash our clothes. She is usually nearby so if you need anything you can ask her and she's always happy to help. The guestrooms themselves are...

Ideally located in the Old Town. Anka, the enthusiastic and very friendly owner, could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Although only a small room was available when we arrived, as we were staying for 7 nights, Anka moved us into the larger room when it was vacated the following day. The rooms are cleaned and the linen changed...

Pero was very friendly and unterstand our situation. It was not possible to change the booking so Pero was friendly and he accepted to cancel our booking. We will definetly try a...

A clean, well located place near the hub of the Old Town. Anka was so welcoming and gave us a choice of available rooms upon arrival. The air conditioning and wifi were a god send and the offer of beach towels and bags could not be turned down! They do provide breakfasts upon request, we didn’t take them up on...
