We have been in croatia for a few weeks now, I decided to.pop.into the local dubrovnik hilton as I am an executive member, just for a drink, but all the staff are still wearing masks....... This makes me feel very uncomfortable as mask wearing has not been necessary anywhere in the educated world except maybe China. We visit the hilton in parklane London frequently and its not necessary there. There is no way I will be coming back to this hotel until this mask wearing nonsense stops
Our 2nd time at Hilton imperial and I failed to write the most amazing review last time, the reason we returned with parents and children... and we arrive with great expectations! Celebrating Brothers birthday and first holiday after the lockdown, we stayed six nights. Absolutely everything from start to finish was fantastic. The 1st post pandemic break will have been a challenge - but we were oblivious to any of that, as from smiley, efficient Reception staff greeting us and getting the car valet parked, reception Manager recognising us and greeting us personally, remembered us from last year.. all of us felt special. Beautiful rooms, housekeeping was wonderful, Executive lounge definitely worth extra, beautifully decorated room serving local drinks and food. Bar staff and food delicious, not usual boring Hilton menu, although breakfast was our highlight. The terrace is wonderful, to us, it felt like Cannes or Niece. absolutely everything and everyone was simply 1st Class! They deliver the perfect blend of class, quality, and sophistication, all wrapped up in an unpretentious and personal - nothing's-too-much-trouble - service. The break was a treat for the family, we claimed mount Serd twice, nice walk and climb, 6km of not to challenging walking distance from the hotel, the best magnificent views. Walking distance beach, we took a ferry to Island of Lopud when we wanted to avoid crowded beach. Brilliant for GOT fans. This place is simply EPIC, Hilton should be truly proud of your amazing staff. Bravo TEAM Hilton Dubrovnik.. 👏…
We stayed at the Hilton Imperial for 5 nights and found it to be faultless. It’s a beautiful hotel and a cool oasis of calm just 400 yards away from the Old Town which was hot and bustly. The staff are friendly and efficient, so have been well trained. We only had breakfast and snacks at the hotel but all were very good and again the service was excellent. The pool was clean and not very busy but could do with some updating as it is a bit basic, but the gym facilities are good. Overall we were very impressed and happy, we would definitely come back and stay again.
Nice hotel but although we booked months in advance we were given a room in the annex outwith the hotel, initially with a room looking onto a brick wall. Having stayed in several Hiltons this wad disappointing but we did get moved to a higher floor still outwith the hotel. The hotel location is superb as was the room service and fitness facilities
Diamond member and frequently traveler with family on vacation. Hilton Imperial is one of our best stays ever. Martina was an incredible hosts and arranged for us to have connecting rooms. We had a balcony overlooking the Adriatic. The Executive lounge was great in the evenings. Breakfast was the best we have had at any Hilton. Pool was incredibly clean. Rooms were updated and large for Europe. The hotel is right by the gates to old town, a hidden beach, a market, a bakery. It was truly a perfect trip.
Perfect location; crawling distance from Old Town; which IMO is far better than being in Old Town. Air conditioner is whisper quiet. Nice included breakfast spread. Great gym for a hotel. Modern and clean. Nice people. They upgraded our room even though we have no status at Hilton. Nothing negative to say. Highly recommend.
On check-in we were allocated a double room in the ‘Private Villa’ which was actually an annexe across the drive (past the taxis and delivery vans). Must have got the worst room they had - ‘mountain view’ was actually a view of a fence adjoining a primary school so no natural light and the sound of children playing. Dark room with no outside space. No outdoor pool which was a shame because the weather is hot. Good location, helpful concierge and decent breakfast. Dubrovnik is amazing but would choose alternative accommodation if visiting again.
Croatia was our first COVID-era international trip, and the country, in general, made it as easy as they could. Very friendly service greeted us a this Hilton property. Our King Exec Suite (room #422) benefited from an excellent corner location and a wrap-around terrace. Views were breathtaking! Booked twin room next door for our 2 teenagers. Breakfast served out on lovely patio of restaurant downstairs, overlooking the sites. Easy walk to old town, city walls and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend renting a boat and captain for a day to tool around to local islands. (Found BOWA restaurant that way, which stands for Best of What's Around. It is!)
The Hilton Dubrovnik is a magnificent hotel with friendly courteous staff - wonderful comfortable rooms - and a perfect position near the pile gate. It is one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed in - and I travel a lot !
My wife and I with two friends booked a week at this hotel. As both ladies had some mobility problems it was important to be close to the old town, and this hotel is just a few yards away from the main gate. We flew there on a Jet2 Indulgent Escapes holiday and had rooms in the elegant annexe which were modern, clean and lovely. The staff here were excellent, very friendly, efficient and caring. The breakfasts catered for both continental and UK tastes and you can order special dishes. Evening meals were also very good, eaten on a lovely light and airy terrace. We can thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel, and would book here again without hesitation
