We stayed at Hotel Lapad for a week at the end of October. Despite arriving well before check in time, our rooms were ready and they were happy to check us straight in. As other reviews mention, if you are staying towards the back of the hotel, you need need to take two lifts (or climb some stairs) but it didn’t worry us and the lifts were often ready and waiting with the doors open. We were fortunate to have rooms with a view of the harbour and although our balcony was small, there was still enough space for two to sit and read. We found the bed very comfortable, had plenty of space for all our clothes and loved the fact the rooms had a sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom/hall area, which meant we never heard any noise from inside (or outside the hotel). We slept very well. We were staying on a half-board package, and breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with a good choice of food every meal time. We were never hungry and there was something for everyone. All the staff in the restaurant and reception were very welcoming and friendly. We like the hotel’s location. Although it is 30 - 40 minutes walk from the old town, it is easy to walk, take the bus or taxi. You are also only a short 15 minute walk from Sunset Beach and the promenade which has plenty of bars and cafes to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to stay again.

I was there for five days. The main building of the hotel is antique, all marble, beautiful and magical. The rooms have a modern look though. They are clean, not too big but comfortable. The Staff is extremely nice and attentive. Breakfast is great. Too bad that they're building a new concrete pier and the view is not the one you can see on their website.

This was the second time I have had the privilege of staying at the Lapad and all I can say is it didn’t disappoint. This is a very special authentic hotel which ticks all the boxes. Price range, cleanliness, quality for money and staff that go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. We opted for a superior room it was magnificent, very spacious and comfortable. We stayed on a bed/breakfast board and the choice of breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic such a variety to suit everyone. I love the position of the hotel and we explored the region of Lapad a little more especially the scenic walks and found some lovely coves and beaches. The views are breathtaking. Thank you so much for making our holiday one full of happy memories xxx

Currently still at the hotel in room 609. This hotel is perfect we have loved out stay here. The half board option for us has been fantastic, the food is delicious. The staff are super friendly and happy to help in anyway. Kiki in the restaurant is the perfect host and is such a gentlemen. The rooms are really modern and comfortable for our weeks stay. The location is perfect, just ten minutes to the old town on bus number 6. We loved being by the harbour. We are totally in love with Croatia especially Hotel Lapad and we hope to return soon.

Booked Dubrovnik as a last minute 'city' break and this Hotel based on the location and already great reviews. Just returned home and it was much much more than a city break! 4 days wasn't enough! Yes we were blessed with great weather, 20+ with constant clear blue skies, but this hotel and its location made it super special. We were on the 6th floor, double room with a balcony with views of the marina. One small issue here was the building works on the marina but that's life, only a good thing long term. The room was spotless, cleaned everyday with a modern bathroom and enough space for a couple. We were half board, breakfast and dinner self service buffet. This was great value and excellent! Plenty of choice and really tasty. The hotel building is amazing with nice grounds and a pool, it was fairly cold but it was nearly Nov! The staff were very helpful and very polite. The location, Lapad is perfect. 10min bus ride, no 6 to the old town (great place) and 10-15min walk to Sunset beach (great sunset) with plenty of restaurants/bars. We booked a day trip down there to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Full day (50 euro) to Kravice Waterfalls then onto Mostar. Great day out! Well worth it! We booked with Jet2holidays and they were very organised from the very start to the finish, providing constant updates on flights, transfers and covid paperwork.
