fantastic location, great staff, excellent food, very nice rooms with sea view. slippery, algae covered steps to the sea - obstructed with a rope from the handrail across the steps are a danger. The customer service is a pity and disappointing - no-one feels responsible and you get no answers.
Stunning location on the edge of the Adriatic just a complimentary hop in the hotel shuttle (thank you Leo!) to visit the old town. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and a feast for the eyes. We very much appreciated the upgrade for our honeymoon and the thoughtful glass of bubbles delivered to us at BOWA on a boat day trip out. Fabulous sunset cocktails and nibbles on the roof, the most beautiful lunch terrace shaded by pines overlooking turquoise water that will always remain in my memory. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone - elegant glamour close to a stunning historic city. Thanks also to Batu who who even managed to return some belongings I had forgotten to me over the border to Montenegro. Thank you for a memorable honeymoon - we will be back!!
What can I say, this Hotel is exceptional in every regard. The staff are super friendly, and amazing. The Bars are fabulous, had some of the best cocktails and Vodka Martinis ever. The facilities at the hotel are top notch, with a fantastic pool, gym, spa, steps down to a sunbathing area and the sea. The restaurant completely blew my mind, how it doesn’t have a Michelin Star I don’t know, because it absolutely deserves one, probably had one of the best meals I have ever had. Highly recommend the veal cheek! Oh and also the sea urchin pasta, that’s was the perfect lunch. Lastly the prosciutto bar has the best view of Dubrovnik Old Town, truly stunning! Honestly, can’t recommend this hotel enough. I will absolutely be heading back.
Villa Dubrovnik is an amazing and superb hotel! Staff and service provided is outstanding. Best location posible, outside the crowds of Dubrovnik but just a 15-20 min nice walk to town. Just perfect! The beach facilities are very comfortable and convenient. All meals and restaurants are extraordinary. Without any doubt, the best hotel in Dubrovnik, by far…
The Villa Dubrovnik is a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills 10 minutes from the Old Town. What made our trip so special was all the incredible service from everyone. The Guest Relations Manager; Batu Cetiner, went beyond in helping us... All of his suggestions and it I erases far exceeded our expectations. His professional manner and execution in helping us with transportation(ferry, transfers, car service) made our trip more manageable and enjoyable. Our trip was more memorable and special with guidance of Mr Batu Cetiner. When stay I g at the Villa Dubrovnik you define aptly need to work with "Batu" as he made the difference for us.. He knows Dubrovnik and areas of Croatia extremely well which he helped us with other travel AMD for Croatia... The best: Havar Cetiner and the Villa Dubrovnik!! Marcee Smith New York City, USA…
We loved everything about Villa Dubrovnik. Beautiful room and view. Great food and service. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. Took advantage of complimentary afternoon/evening shuttle to entrance to old town. Pool and "beach" area were very nice with frequent waiter service. Enjoyed dinner at the Prosciutto restaurant and the rooftop bar. Both were wonderful.
Stunning hotel with staff that cannot do enough for you, a special thank you to Batu for helping us with a late check out & transfer when we needed it. The room was nice but would benefit from better tv signal and maybe a book telling you how to operate things such as the bathroom light that was not that easy to find! It’s in a dimmer switch in the main room. The shower hose was broken when we arrived but the entire shower fitting was replaced by the time we came back in. Highly recommend getting the table on the right hand side of the veranda for spectacular views of Dubrovnik old town whilst sipping the best coffee and use the pool, we spent 3 days and saw nobody else use it, despite it being heavenly & have incredible views.
Stayed two nights in June with two other couples who all raved about our stay. This hotel has it all - rooms with ample size and modern amenities. The patio at Pjerin Restaurant was romantic with excellent food and service. Staff and facilities are top of the line with a short shuttle service into the city. Room 403. Highly recommend.
Took the ferry from Split to Dubrovnik. The hotel booked my seamless hotel transfer from my arrival at the port. As you approach the hotel and enter the doors of an elevator, your breath is taken away as the doors open unto a stunning lobby with sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea. The front desk is incredibly hospitable and offer an internal WhatsApp # to text the hotel with any of your needs. Since the hotel is closed for winter time, we had just arrived after a few weeks of opening. Hotel wasn’t full which made it more intimate. Our room faced the Adriatic Sea with a great size balcony to sun bathe. But I found the hotels private beach to be my favorite spot with unobstructed views of the old city and ability to jump into the sea which was most refreshing. If you’re an avid swimmer - the hotel offers an inside pool which is well appointed and exquisite along with lounging cabanas. The food is unprecedented since the hotel has a Michelin star restaurant with a beautiful white motif. You can eat inside or outside. The wine bar at the top of the hotel as the most sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea with the Old City as its crown jewel. There’s an in-house spa for any of your relaxing or beauty needs. Spent a restful nights sleep in a sumptuous bed. Loved the wood floors in the rooms and sexy bathroom. Will definitely come again… ☺️…
This place is simply gorgeous. The property is well kept and in a perfect upper cliff position. The rooms were small but had a nice concept and was perfectly appointed . Staff was very attentive and always helpful. Thumbs up. A great romantic scape. Worth a visit.
