The hotel is not fancy but comfortable. We had a nice room with a view. It's clean and the staff are all so friendly and extremely helpful especially Natalia. She gave us a lot of tips on where to go. Behind the hotel unfortunately nobody told us we found by accident has nice area with loads of restaurants/bars and walking trail. We went on a day trip really early in the morning and the hotel was so nice packed our breakfast to go. We were surprised but happy with this small gesture. It's in a convenient location. Huge pool. One of the best breakfast selections.

Stayed for 3 nights HB after a cruise. The hotel was spotless and towels changed daily if required. Plenty of toiletries available and great shower. Lovely view from the balcony of pool and sea. There is building work in the grounds but fortunately no work was going on whilst we were there. The Pool area is fabulous and there is also a large indoor pool, gym and spa. Pool towels are provided also. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice for food, although some of it was barely warm. The main issue was the size of the 2 x lifts which were extremely small for the size of the hotel especially when guests were checking in and out with luggage. The area was quite upmarket with plenty of restaurants, bars (most having happy hours) and local supermarkets. Bus no 6 was close to the hotel for journeys into the old town and cost 12 kuna each way. There is a lovely promenade coastal walk from sunset beach.

This hotel is in a good position for transport into town and proximity to restaurants and beach. It has excellent common facilities. My room and those of my travelling companions however were expensive and substandard. They are old, tired and the bathroom is like something from the 70’s. We complained and asked for a room such as those advertised on booking.com and were treated unpleasantly by the receptionist. We gave up and stayed for the 3 nights, but I would recommend inspecting the bathroom before agreeing to a room. The showers were particularly bad - plastic container in the corner, chipped, old and tiny. We paid way too much for what was a 2 star room.

Staff were nice. Pool area good. Breakfast was fine. I stayed one day and night, as going on a cruise next day. I paid a bargain price so was put in villa building next to hotel. Seeing I did not pay alot I got a nice view of the car park and rough ground at back. So accepted you pay rock bottom you get what you get. We had a balcony and room was big. So very happy with what we got for the price we paid. Also it is in a good location in Lapad.

We visited Dubrovnik to attend a friends wedding (delayed from 2019 !) The large group, 70+, were in the main spread across two hotels. This one and the Hotel Kompass, a short walk away. I recognise some elements of the negative reviews on this hotel, some construction work, sea view versus park view. But let me put correct context in place. There is a construction site on-site, they are adding to the already plentiful facilities, and when they are completed, it will be an even better hotel than it is. There was no construction activity during my four night stay and the site is tidy, safe and secure. We had a park view room. It was absolutely fine and nicely quiet. It is a large garden rather than a park. What is the big deal ? Really ? Get a life. The sea view is also the pool view. The pool area is huge and attracts many people from other hotels…including all our party from the Hotel Kompass. It gets very busy, because it is simply the best pool area/facility around. Our room was a decent size with excellent facilities. Clean and well serviced every day, with fresh towels even though we did not place them in the shower to indicate changing. Every single member of the front of house team were beyond helpful, welcoming, cheerful, friendly and professional…all day and night. The breakfast options are simply overwhelming and very high-quality, constantly being refreshed and topped up by immaculate chefs and kitchen team. Outstanding value for money hotel option…unless you expect to pay as little as possible and live like a King ! Hvala Grand Hotel Park.

First I like to say something good about this hotel. The people that work there are perfect. They are friendly, kind and very helpful. Our room was very clean when we arrived. All our questions were answered at the front desk with a smile :-) The breakfast was very good and there was enough choice to eat something different everyday. The manager in the restaurant was amazing, he was so helpful and had such a good guest awareness. The pool was very refreshing and we could order food and drinks which were brought to you at the terrace or at your sun bed. Also were very kind and helpful staff. There was always a sun bed available. You will get a towel when you enter the pool area. The gym is very good! Now less good stuff, minor points or things to improve. The hotel is called grand hotel “park”. well the park at the back is unfortunately a junkyard. It looked deserted such a long time and not maintained at all. It was also closed so no quick entrance through the junkyard to the beach. Also at the middle of the pool they are building or rebuilding something (looks like a pool bar) which I thought was not safe because kids could climb easily from the small pool into it and fall down. In the evening a lot of lights were not working e.g. the main lights on top of the hotel, saying Grand Hotel Park, were partially working, (not a good publicity I would say) the light on the big stairs at the pool were flickering annoyingly and part was not working. The pool sprayers for kids to play with at one side were not working. The building next to the hotel which is build right against the hotel is being renovated or something looks extremely ugly while you are enjoying the pool. I do not understand why nothing is covering that sight so the guests of the hotel are not bothered about that view. The parking area is also a mess. I think all of this should have been mentioned to the guests when you book a 4 star hotel. At least say something like “there is a lot of maintenance to be done and some accesses are closed until ……….” Be clear and honest! Also we paid for 3 adults and 1 kid instead of 2 adults and 2 kids and this could not been undone. Nobody mentioned something to us upon arrival and nothing was compensated of some kind and this was a bit disappointing. Could at least offered us an evening of dining in the hotel itself. When you book through booking dot com it is mentioned that there is a transfer available. This is not the case, this is an error of booking dot com. (Says the hotel). The hotel can arrange a transfer from and to the airport for you but that will cost you.

We stayed for a week, and were not disappointed. The hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy all that Dubrovnik has to offer The room was lovely with a sea view, the bed very comfortable and everything was very clean - daily towel changes. We chose the half board option as we really cant be bothered going out in the evening ,,, and the food was very good Breakfast and dinner had a good choice and variety and there was plenty of it. My only criticism was that you have to pay extra for even water with the meal, and there was no coffee included - but this didnt ruin it at all If you want to eat out there are many many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance - you could eat somewhere different every night no problem at all The beach is within easy distance but we preferred the pool area - plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas no matter what time you arrive. There is a bus stop about 2 minutes walk which takes you right to the PILE gate at the entrance to the old town. You can also arrange organised trips to see other things in the area and also there are many boat trips on offer We cannot fault the staff - very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble There is a supermarket at the end of the road to get drinks and snacks - we had a fridge in the room so sat on the balcony in the evenings which was perfect Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for location, quality, and overall experience

I was 5 nights with family in this hotel in july 2022. Second swiming pool has been finished few days before my arrival. All construction work was stopped around hotel in this period. My family room was large with large bathroom, and tiny balcony. Climate was working well, and its even sometimes cold in the lobby and restaurant. Elevators is too small and old, many guests use stairs. Stuff was friendly and nice. Hotel has enough big outside parking. My biggest complaint is about cleaning. Outside hotels windows has not been cleaned for months! Even windows in restarurant where is vary nice sea view (grrrr!). Dirty windows everywhere, and dust on balcony chairs, floor and table. On pool area is tragicly how dirty it is. I sent email with this complaint to hotel managment, they reply me that they will sort this out, but again, every day we had dirt around our sunbeds, and this spoil my pool time with familly, even though all two polls are very nice. First (old one) is huge, and second (new one) with salty water is amazing. Hotel seen better days and screaming for new investments and better maintenence. Locals told me that this hotel lost one star, so now is 3-star hotel, and it really is. Prices are lower then avarage for Dubrovnik, to be honest. Its pity, for biggest hotel in Lapad area, that he is now like neglected old man, but you know that in past he has been young athlete.

We stayed for a week here, in July, and we had a nice vacation. In this moment, the hotel consists in two buildings, the main hotel building and a so-called villa, in fact a charmingless building, seen from the outside. A second "villa" is under renovation, but it seems that the works will not be finished too soon. The problem is that it is located right next to the pool and does not have a very pleasant view. The same building yard can be seen from the sea-view rooms. Our room was at the 1st floor in the main building. It has a small balcony, about 3x1 m. It was a sea-view room but at from the rooms at 1st floor rooms the view is not very nice. In front of you is the roof of the restaurant, covered with a green carpet, not very clean. From time to time a cat appears, looking for food. The cleaning in the rooms was done daily but a little superficial. In two days they forgot to put toiletries. The air-conditioning worked very well. There is a little safe-box (you have to pay if you want to use it) a TV (almost useless, not many English channels), a little freezer, a kettle. The Wi-Fi worked very well in all the areas of the hotel. The main pool is pretty big (for what you can find at Dubrovnik hotels), 140 to 180 cm deep. The water was clean and warm. There were also enough sunbeds and umbrellas. There are also two new smaller pools, just inaugurated and an indoor pool, pretty big. Again, a big minus: due to renovation works, there is no pool bar. To have a drink you have to go to the only bar in the hotel, at the reception. Hard thing to do in swimsuit, with water dripping on you. Also, the cleanliness in the area is not very good. The tiles are extremely dirty in some areas. I saw the staff cleaning the sunbeds in the evening but I did not see anyone sweeping or washing the tiles. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t have a private beach. Though, there is a pebble beach in front of the hotel, at walking distance. You can rent a sunbed or just lay on your own towel. Another downside would be the elevators, only two for the whole hotel. And many times they didn't even work properly, seeming to have a will of their own. Many people were bored waiting for them and used the stairs. The hotel offers two meals a day, the breakfast and the dinner. At the lunch the restaurant is closed, so you are forced to leave the hotel for lunch. The food was good and diverse. You can choose from two types of soups every day (at dinner), many salads, fish, chicken and beef cooked in different ways. All dishes have a label with the English name of the dish. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel has also a small gym and a spa. All in all, an OK hotel.
