A beautiful hotel set into the side of the cliff with its own (small and busy) beach. We stayed here twice in the same week, having taken three days away to visit Hvar, and our rooms were excellent both times. That said, I note that the more expensive room “ Superior Room, Balcony, Sea View” was worth — absolutely amazing. The location is such that you need to walk 20mins to reach old town, but we never regretted not booking a hotel in old town itself — the space, views and serenity of the hotel made it quite a feature of our trip in its own right.

Fantastic 4 night stay at this super hotel. Beautiful balcony rooms overlooking sea - amazing to wake up to this view each morning. Set in beautiful cove, with access to pebbly beach which is not private. Ideally located hotel, 15-20 mins scenic walk into the historic city. We choose this hotel for its 5* rating, close location to city, coved beach and views. The service was exceptional, very friendly staff. Very much enjoyed breakfast selection. I would recommend this hotel if you want 5* star quality and good location.

I can't rate this hotel highly enough - we had a wonderful sunny 4 days here in October. The downside first - the mini pastries for breakfast. I can't understand mini pastries, why ?? No muffins. Crispy, tiny croissants. No thanks. And that's it. The rest of the hotel is amazing. Our room was spacious, spotless, and with a breath-taking view out to sea. The balcony was lovely, watch all the bats flying around in the early evening ! The room was serviced twice a day, every day, and there were chocolates on the pillows when we returned of an evening. Breakfast and lunch were enjoyed in Vapor restaurant, in the sunshine. Staff are professional, attentive, and efficient, as well as friendly and kind. They cannot be faulted. The food is superb. The beach is doooowwwnnn the base of the hotel, through a weird cave and then out to a small terrace with sunbeds, and then the beach, which also has public access. The water is clear and turquoise, there's a cave you can swim in to, it's pebbly to get in and out, so little beach shoes are handy. The sun was disappearing from the beach at around 3pm each day, but this was late October. Location-wise, it's just a 15 min walk in to the old town, or the marina in the other direction. There are shops (including a supermarket across the road), restaurants, bars, ATMs and snackbars all within a few meters of the hotel, and we even found a massive sports arena for football and an outside gym just 5 mins away. I would love to go back to Bellevue one day......

Having read all the great reviews, I can confirm that this hotel is an absolute gem! The staff are superb, they're friendly, helpful, professional and there are lots of them, to many to name, but thank you to everyone for making our stay so comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the old town. A 15 - 20 minute walk, mostly downhill into the town and a slight uphill walk back - not a strenuous uphill walk, I'm not a big walker and managed it easily. Tip - if you don't want to walk, use uber as opposed to the local taxis as it's less than half the price! A taxi from town was £7.50 whereas ubers varied from £2.50 - £3.50. Food at the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, staff are on hand to serve you with whatever you want - you can also order sparkling wine to accompany your meal! We ate dinner one night and although it was expensive, it was the best meal we had whilst in Dubrovnik. I had the lobster bisque and the John Dory, both were perfect. Our room - basic with partial sea view and no balcony - was big enough for 4 nights, I'd suggest a larger one for longer stays. We had a lovely view and the bed was comfortable. Great shower/sink etc with lovely L'occitane products supplied. The hotel beach is small but lovely, it's pebbly which makes getting in and out of the sea a bit painful but once you are in, oh how lovely! We swam in October and it was perfect. You can swim into a small cave or out quite far and be very safe - would recommend the struggle with the pebbles, it was well worth it. I'd advise anyone going to Dubrovnik to stay at the Bellevue, it's absolutely great.

This was our first hotel on our honeymoon to Croatia and it was perfect. The view is truly gorgeous, the staff is very friendly and the location is perfect. It's a quick walk to Old Town on one street. If you feel like staying in one night there is a good restaurant, great drinks, and a very luxurious swimming pool area. The beach cove is really the greatest part and we enjoyed every second of laying out by the sea.
