Stay away from this hostel. Absolutely terrible. 1) Prepare to have no wifi for most of your stay. Wifi has problems, you can't connect after a while and you will be without internet access for a long time. 2) Owner speaks terrible English and is rude as hell. Trying to communicate any issues you have with him will test your... More

Although I did not let it ruin my Dubrovnik experience, this hostel did put a damper on it. I had the garden private room which was ok but I had to climb several stairs from the street to access it. Not a big deal without luggage but a challenge with. The "garden" area is full of clutter. Internet in and... More

We chose this accommodation because it was the only one available in our price range. And I still think its pretty steep to be paying 65EURO a night for this place. The only thing on your side is the location and for us that was good enough. It smells, there is a lot of noise from the busy road outside... More

Wow. Where to begin? Was it the treacherous stench with the smell of mould, or the basement window-less room in which we were hustled into? The place was dirty, broken toilet seat, basin, taps, etc... All the beds pushed together into a line - if we weren't all friends beforehand we most definitely would have been very well acquainted after.... More

Location of this hostel is great, close to Old Town and bus stop. However that's pretty much the only good thing. I had rented a garden view room, they ended up putting me in a basement room two inches away from the street. The noise from the street was so loud I had to sleep with headphones and music or... Situated very close to pula gate just up from the Hilton, My only real negative was that it was the hottest day and even after all other reviews they had still no sign for the place?! Once found it was obvious but a bit late for my sweaty body! Staff were great and showed some places on map and directions... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at Hostel Villa Garden for 2 nights. The father and son who run the place are extremely nice and helpful, and on entering quite late at night we were greeted with a smile, multiple discount vouchers for restaurants near by and a run through of the city that you would be happy with from a... We stayed at Hostel Villa Garden for 4 nights. As lots of people have said it is hard to find as there is no sign, but as we knew we would need to look out for it we found it very easily. If you get the airport shuttle bus (which is right out the front of the airport and very... More

I write 'hostel' because this place is just an apartment, not a real hostel. Hostel Villa Garden is very difficult to find. If you try to follow their directions, you will get lost. My sister and I wandered around the city for half an hour trying to find the place. Turns out that we walked past it several times. There... More

Nothing bad to say about this place. Cheap and everything you could want and expect in a hostel. Owners were very nice and helpful. The location is perfect for old town and very quiet. We had a large room for 2 of us with more than enough beds and a nice little kitchen/hob area and own bathroom. Very convenient and... More
