Nikolina was great! Arranged for our pick up from the airport, met us at the wall and walked us to the hotel. She gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our room was nice, very clean and comfortable. It was easy to get anywhere within or around the wall.

We came here during the half-term break and not only have we fallen in love with Dubrovnik and the surrounding area but also with Villa Sigurata. We used the airport transport service and immediately were met with a warm welcome. When we got to Dubrovnik we were dropped at the Ploča Gate and met by Nikolina, the owner of Villa Sigurata (her husband was also our driver). She escorted us to the residence pointing out useful things to know on the short walk and also helping us with our suitcases. Nikolina knows this town inside out and was wonderful in her recommendations, especially restaurants. We went everywhere she mentioned and always with a great result. Highlights included: Taj Mahal (Bosnian cuisine), Moby Dick (fish), Mea Culpa (Italian) and Kopun (traditional). The residence itself is charming. It’s functional, impeccably clean, and cosy. The little touches were great also, eg. complimentary coffee/tea room, complimentary beach towels and sun cream. Nikolina was on hand, personally and/or via whatsapp anytime of day. However, the stand out thing about Villa Sigurata is its location!!! It was simply amazing! The whole of the Old Town was at our doorstep not to mention the phenomenal bars (especially for swimming and sunsets) - Buža and Bard Mala Buža - a 90 second walk away. Thank you to all at Villa Sigurata - we’ve had the best time!

Villa Sigurata is an amazing find. The hotel is in a wonderful location in the Old Town and the owner Nikolina and her daughter Romana couldn’t do enough to help us. Our flight arrived at 10am and after a quick shuttle bus and following the excellent directions, we had checked in and were exploring Dubrovnik by midday! The bed was very comfortable and the room had aircon which was useful. The bathroom was very small but it did the job so what more could you want? The room had a very useful fridge - the city certainly isn’t cheap and it was nice to buy a bottle of wine from the supermarket ( very reasonable) and have a chilled glass before we went out to eat and buy a more expensive glass or three! The location is fantastic, everything is within easy walking distance. We booked a taxi to take us back to the airport and Romana walked us to meet the driver outside the walls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can’t praise Nikolina and Romana enough. If we return to Dubrovnik we would definitely stay there again! Thank you.

Smallish room with beautiful exposed stone walls. The Villa was a 8 minute walk from the Pile Gate and easy to find with a little bit of trial and error. The host Nikolina was super friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to the action but in a very quiet street. You are very close to a doorway in the walls where you can go through to a bar on the rocks with a swim spot. The bathroom was very narrow so your head could hit the towel rail opposite when you stand up from the loo. But the fixtures were fine.

This accommodation was wonderful and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for exploring the Old Town and getting to the port. I cannot recommend this lovely spot enough. A friend and I rented two rooms with ensuite bathrooms and the rooms were lovely. The manager was terrific--she was helpful, accommodating, and just nicer than nice. I cannot recommend this highly enough!!
